Yes, I should be hitting Cedar Point for Coaster Mania on June 6th.

Ginzo, I looked at the season pass like you said and it was only $23 more, but also gave me half price admissions to Silver Dollar City and Celebration City which I will be hitting both later in the year.

Plus I save anyone coming with me $5 each with my pass.

Thanks for the tip, should save me some cash.

Peace, Big Mike

Yeah, Dollywood's season pass pricing is pretty reasonable. Just be sure to bother to process it! They'll let you in the gate 1 or 2 times without processing it. Last year we bought season passes, didn't bother to process figuring we'd have time, got rained out for 2 days and never got back to the park to process our passes.

Big Mike, while your at SFOG, there is a small park called Dixie land. It is in Fayyetville, about 30 minutes south of SFOG.

UPDATE!

Hi everyone.

Just updating this for the month of March.

My coaster season "MAY" start this weekend if the weather cooperates.

If the weather is good, I plan on visiting Storybook Land in South Jersey, along with the Steel Pier in Atlantic City on Saturday.

I will post later in the week when I know about the weather.

Also, this is for sure... Dollywood March 28th, followed by Malibu Grand Prix and Zuma that night.

Then Six Flags over Georgia on March 29th, with a side trip to Dixieland and Sir Gooneys.

Already have some friends I am looking forward to meeting there :)

Will post pictures and trip reports soon.

Peace, Big Mike

The Atlantic City trip is ON for Saturday March 15th!

55 degrees and sunny will start Big Mike's 2008 roller coaster season :b

I plan on making Storybook Land in Egg Harbor NJ the 1st stop of the Big Mike Road Show of 2008 sometime between 11am and noon.

Following that, I will enjoy the Steel Pier in Atlantic City in the early afternoon.

There will also be a possible stop at Seaside Heights on the way back home just to have some more fun and see some old friends.

Pictures and Trip reports to follow!!!

Anyone going to be in the area, I will have my TPR hoodie on :) until I get my Big Mike 2008 Road Show shirts in.

Peace, Big Mike

Mike,

If possible, I would do Gooneys on the 28th on your way down to Atlanta from the Smokies (I assume you are going via 75 since you are going to Zuma) - the ride may not be open and it would be stupid to drive almost 2 hours from SFOG and not ride it... plus Dixieland is almost an hour in the opposite direction...

or, you could put off Gooneys until you go down and visit Lake Winnie, since they are just a few miles apart

Why am I trying to help Big Mike??!

Thanks for the help Joe!

This is my plan.

I arrive on the 28th in Atlanta and drive straight to Doolywood, probably getting there by 1pm and it closes at 7pm.

Then I plan to hit Malibu and Zuma on the way back to Atlanta that night.

I will pass Goonies both ways, so I need to hit it during operating hours.

Saturday the 29th I will be at Six Flags all day. If things are going well with all the ERT, then I will cut out during midday and hit Dixieland, then return for late ERT.

Does that plan sound feasible, I don't know the area at all if it is logistically soundproof.

Peace, Big Mike

I visited my first park of the year this past weekend.

STORYBOOK LAND in New Jersey.

This was stop #1 on The Big Mike Road Show.
