^^Even still, I wish I could at least navigate the webpage to see what the park will look like and stuff like that.

But I guess this way it is a surprise...which I guess makes it more fun!

I am starting to really like the looks of this project, despite how it may or may not rde a few years down the road. If for some reason I am ever in china, I will definatly ride this thing. I love the layout of this thing!

A zonkey is a cross between a zebra and a donkey.

Its not actually too hard to navigate round. The links at the top refer to what you'd expect and by clicking on one you can usually figure out what page you are on either by the URL of the page (works less well on chinese sites than japanese sites that often use english urls) or by the pictures on the page.

heres a quick guide if you want to have a nose around

Map: Top right one is the area containing dive machine (not shown on map?)
Rides: Self explanatory
Shows: same as above
Activity: not sure on this one. seems much like shows
News: going through it now. nothing of note
Multimedia: backgrounds, calender etc
Info: Traffic, Directions, Contact
Forum: Under construction

Unfortunatly the HV Shanghai site is pretty much useless when it comes to good pictures/info.

The new pics of Fireball look superb though. I shall keep trawling chinese news sites for anything relating to the other rides.

I'm a know-it-all about donkeys!

If you go to their website, and click on the section with the mega lite they have a video of Thorpe Parks Collosus, advertising 10 inversions! The picture is of Piraten though, so at least they got it partly right!

Fireball looks awesome. Isn't there anyway you can ask Martin & Vleminckx to shift their camera a little bit to the right next time ;)

Hopefully I'll be able to go to Shanghai this autumn or next spring. :)

I'm out working in SongJiang, only 15 minutes away from this mud filled construction site. I went up there a few days ago, the dive machine is looking near completion, there is still loads of track in a tarmac area to the south of the park. I couldnt get as close as the construction workers, but i got a half decent dusk shot of the woodie, and a crackig close up of the dive machine. Im hoping to get back nextg week and see the yellow and green track installed a bit to the west of the park. Im also on the september TPR trip through here.
if you want to see my photos they are on RCDB
cheers
george
while your on RCDB check oout parks in wuhu and nanjing ive visited. not many pictures up yet as im stuck behind great ftp fire wall of china and cant easly ftp pictures

Why???? So CF can screw up another great coaster in 5 years or less??

Think about it!!

JJ

Lmfao touche, yeah Mean Streak and Ghostrider are good examples about how much CF can murder a woodie, there are probably also design flaws but they shouldnt be that bad. I still want a GG woodie in so cal though...... *cough* like that's ever gonna happen *cough*
