Those are some really cool shots! Thanks for sharing. Really enjoy the shot from above that shows Alice and Skull Rock. Its hard to come by pictures that show them all together and gives you a good idea on where they use to be.

My mom took some great pics. I doubt she knew the value of the pics of things like Skull Rock when she took them. She just liked what she saw. These are just about all the photos she took that trip, so its kind of strange how she took alot of pics of things that have gone to Yesterland.

Thanks again everyone. I added a picture of Chip to the main post for all the rodent fans.

I well remember my trip in September 1979. Big Thunder had just opened and I was looking forward to riding it. Back then, you needed an "E" Ticket to ride (no Passports yet!).

At the time, I had just turned 20. Thanks for sharing these pictures of the Disneyland I grew up with!

Really cool pictures! I remember my Mom always talking about how cramped Disneyland is with all of its surroundings and that view from the hotel really showed it.

I know more about donkeys than women!

Great pictures! I Love everything retro!

Loving the parade pics, especially the elephants and dumbo! Although, I am slightly freaked by the size of Winnie the Pooh's head.... :|
