I think the "Thrill Lift" is the most horrifying coaster concept ever developed.

^ Whats the deal with those? I believe only one was ever built. Did it have a lot of problems or did the idea just never catch on?

I'm thinking the Thrill Lift didn't catch on due to too many "what if's" and the mechanics behind the lift mechanism.
Don't know how they could classify their Flying Dutchman's as a "Family Flying Coaster" as they are not even close to being a family ride.
Despite it being a flipped photo it's nice to see a pic of the Geauga Lake Mind Eraser/Head Spin.

It is a Mountain Coaster at Mystic Mountain in Jamaica. It is probably the best one I have been on, and I love that they let you connect two cars together.

I think the "Thrill Lift" isn't a bad idea as long as its well engineered and regulary tested by independent state-employed engineers like the TÜV in germany...
Okay incidents can still happen - but I trust those TÜV engineers more than those employed by the parks themselves.
Parks: 25 - Steel: 111 - Water: 5 - Wood:16 - Total: 132
preferring Schwarzkopf Looping Coasters

I believe I have a copy of that catalog some where. The tilt lift coaster was an interesting idea, I distinctly remember it getting a lot of buzz on the web after some of the pictures of it got out.
