^You need to work on customizing your Gallery2. ;)

This may have been mentioned already but are they beefing up the supports because of hurricanes? It just looks really dense.

Yeah...someday...don't have the time for my site like I did a few years back.

I haven't heard anything official about extra support because of the hurricane threat but I'm sure it'll be asked this weekend at the ACE Winterfest event in Galveston. If it isn't asked, I'll make sure to ask it myself! We should be having guests from Kemah come talk about the new ride.

That Gallery software can be a real pain once you start messing it with but the customization options are practically limitless.

Have any animations come out for this one?

Gravity Group has an animation they were showing at IAAPA but I don't think there is one available on the web anywhere.

For people asking where Kemah is, it is just south of Houston, located on Galveston Bay. It is quite close to NASA if that helps.

She turned me into a donkey! I got better...

i think that the extended supports are more because the track goes like 3 times through the same structure, so it has to face constraints coming from multiple spots in the structure, + due to track beneath, the upper track finds itself undersupported which leads to more supports to compensate.

Hurricanes can also be a factor but I wouldn't bet on this.

Just look at other martin and Vleminckx rides (the vekoma ones): They also have that kind of mamoth lateral structure.

They're only builders, but seeing the structures look similar, I think they have their word on the design of the structure, and they obviously like to make their structure like this...

I just have a question, does/did M&V build all of the coasters designed by GG or just this one?
