Djurs Sommerland Discussion Thread

Postby Nosferatu » Fri Sep 21, 2007 7:41 am

Hey everybody!

This thread is simple! Rather than having a million little threads about everything that goes on at Djurs Sommerland, this thread is designed to consolidate it all into one user-friendly thread. Feel free to use it to post updates, trip reports, questions, comments, and of course, general discussion. For pictures and videos of the park as well as past updates, see TPR's Park Index Page.

Below are some links to past updates from the park, you may be interested in. Enjoy!

Original Post:

Djurs Sommerland in Denmark is building a new coaster next year. It will be an Intamin tiny mini hyper, with what looks to be quite a few nice elements, and hopefully a lot of airtime happy The lay-out looks pretty sweet!

lol No Limits... alot of pumping, high lateral g's, not very realistic at all 5/10.

Cool layout. I'm glad its not one of those Desert Race layouts... Should be farely intense.

That looks awesome, there seems to be alot of airtime in that small layout. Reminds me of Heart Beat, the new mini mega under construction in Japan. I hope more small parks start investing in these. It sure looks great.

It appears that the lay-out is almost identical to the one in Japan.

This is just one of the best news EVER! I live 30 minutes away from Djurs Sommerland, and I after riding Thors Hammer 50 times, you get tired of it - so this is just GREAT :b

Wow! What a sick little airtime machine! That really looks like a great layout, and another winner for Intamin!

Can you see the donkey in my toast?

WOW, this ride looks great. I am curious to see if this is the return of Intamin coasters with lap bars only.

Fixed.

Looks like a kick-ass ride. Always nice to see smaller parks investing in rides like these.

It says on the site that it will have a lap bar and a seat belt for improved sense of freedom =) . Sounds like the old school Intamin trains too me!
