Wasn't this where the enterprise caught on fire?

Damn long waits on their two big coasters ("Dumb-Dumb-Sh**" and "Euthenasia") made me totally forget about squid-on-a-stick!

I so wanted to try that, at least once on the tour.

Ah well - always another future Japan tour to try again, hmmm?

;)

(EDIT: I did get to finally try my first-ever {Japanese-style} DIPPIN' DOTS at Fuji-Q! <yum>)

^I tried to buy Squid on a stick before we left at 6:00, but they were out.

Stupid Fuji-Q!

^ Hmmmm.

That place definitely needs some new management in place.

What with long lines, even for the smaller coasters we found out,

and now you tell me, they ran out of squid-on-a-stick?

At the (usual) dinner hour???

^Yep, Fuji-Q sucks.

You know, after visiting Fuji-Q, SFMM didn't seem all that bad.

^ Well maybe it actually beat out the park that actually closed it's coasters w/o letting E&R know about it, due to "drizzle" hmm? - and they let us in, paying admission, and then let us know about the closed coasters?

Yep, Fuji-Q beats even that scenario, lol!

I was looking all over for the delicacy "Stick on a Stick," but I couldn't find it. :)

It was genuinely good! Their Okonomiyaki wasn't too bad either for a coaster park. But not half as good as the real deal from a proper Okonomiyaki restaurant.

For anyone visiting Japan, don't miss out on this experience where they cook Okonomiyaki on the hotplate right in front of you. Our best was at the Okonomiyaki Theme Park (no kidding!) in Hiroshima. 26 Okonomiyaki restaurants on the 6th floor of the building opposite the Post Office which is next to the train station. It would've been 2 minutes walk from the hotel we stayed at called The New Hiroden - which was also excellent!
