For people worried about capacity - I don't think Dollywood will have too much of an issue. Even when the park is PACKED the waits aren't all that bad. Add to that, the fact that the ride ops there just turn and burn dispatches and it'll be fine.

I love Dollyfood. One of my favorites.

Screamin' swings are amazing! Probably my favorite flat behind the huss giant frisbee, so this makes me really really excited to visit Dollywood next summer! =)

I take it this swing will look like the one at Silver Dollar City?

But like everyone else in this thread, I love screamin' swings, and this might make me want to visit Dollywood next year :)

Anyhow, this is pretty amazing. Screamin' Swings are one of my favorite flats and one with theming would be doubly awesome.

This is definitely a clone of the one at SDC. I love this ride it is very fun and exciting. The themeing at SDC is very good and this one looks to be identical. It is a great addition. I just hope that SDC gets a decent ride addition for the upcoming season!

It's too good of a ride NOT to get copied over to both parks. I rode the Giant Swing at SDC this weekend and I still say that the barn theming makes it a much better ride than the ones' that are out by themselves. There's something about swinging out above the huge facade that makes you feel higher, plus it just plain looks awesome. I'm glad to hear they'll be revamping the kids area. I hope they do a lot with it since it was a fairly unique area and I think the parks are really awesome for adding more for kids than just rides.

Since the parks are trading concepts again, can SDC get a GCII? ;)

Why do I still have a donkey title???

It's nice to see Dollywood getting this. I rode the one at Silver Dollar City just a few weeks ago.

My favorite S&S swing ride will probably still be Uppswinget at Liseberg. All the fancy theming in the world cannot beat the rush of swinging over the side of a hill.

Sure, but to make it a fair trade, you will have to raise that with an S&S powered coaster.

Challenge me at Donkey Kong...I dare ya!

Barnstormer has its own website now for more details and construction updates. I love the theme and logo that Dollywood came up for this ride (as seen in the video in the link)! :Pr http://www.dollywood.com/land/barnstormer/default.html
