Obviously this was meant to be the prototype B&M aquatrax, but they changed it...

^^^I don't think it was exactly a last minute decision to throw Wing-Walker trains on this thing, but I certainly believe that this ride was in development far before the others, and it was probably modified/finished later when B&M successfully completed Raptor. It seems obvious to me the more I look at it that this general layout was probably developed in some form or fashion not too long after Wildfire, and they've been waiting for the right opportunity to splurge on it all this time.

I think they're just waiting to show off the trains later to add a little more excitement closer to opening day. I'm hoping the other details that haven't been announced yet have to do with station/area thematics. I'm not bothered that there definitely won't be fly-bys/-throughs, but I do hope for a cool Eagle's Nest themed station.

I think everyone who attends opening day for this ride should receive a baby eagle. Kinda like how BGT gave away baby cheetahs and Gardaland gave away raptor embryos.

Okay after looking at a few construction pictures and getting a better idea of where in the park this thing is going to be, this thing is going to be amazing. They could build a Wacky Worm on top of that hill and it would still be awesome.

This coaster looks amazing! Looks like I will be making a trip back to Dollywood in the next few seasons. I know this will be on the New Hotness Tour next year but I have been to almost of the parks on this trip several times.
I may not know everything about coasters... what I do know is they are my life...

Buy cool t-shirts here!!!
