Getting all caught up again and WHEW!! is there a lot to get caught up on! What awesome scenery and funny rides.

I have to ask about the temperatures and Robb's comment about "East Coast parks", which I took to mean US parks. What is the temperature there and why do they keep their parks open when we don't? In addition to climate, the US parks have always cited the decline in tourism in the winter months-basically making it not worth the operating dollars to be open. In many of the pics you guys look like you are the only ones there, so I am curious to know how it is financially possible for the parks to be open?

Continued fun and safe travels...

Shari

I've always heard (and could be totally wrong) that a lot of the regional parks in Japan are run (or atleast heavily subsidized) by the local prefecture or government. They view it as a way to get people to travel and see their area. Makes me miss Japan sooooooo much.. Stacey and I are considering blowing all our FF miles and going back in January for a fix.... We ate at Mitsukoshi last nite and got all sad.. :(

Did my donkey title just change???

That coaster looks awsome! I loved Viper a lot and I am sad to see it go, but I would give it up for El Toro!

I believe the temperature today will be in the low 30s.
