1 board of wood translates to the area of a square foot of wood 1 inch thick.

So if you cramed enough splinters to fill a 1ftX1ftX1in space you'd have 1 board foot of lumber.

Are you guys sure PowerPark is too far out of the way while in Scandanavia next year...?

Yeah, the park is REALLY out of the way.....

...but not too far out of the way for our Scandinavian trip we will plan at some point in the near future! :lol:

The Kentucky RUmbler is just as far along as the Power Park coaster. I drive by Beech Bend about once a week and from my perspective almost all of the structure is up wit the exception of the station and surroundings, and they've started tracking on several sections. I'll try to get some pictures soon if I can, but take my word it looks amazing!

Holy crap next year is amazing for wooden coasters. Totally forgot about the other new GCI coasters going up.

I wonder whether it would be possible to visit the big 3 Finnish parks in 3 days? There's a lot of travelling between them though.

Thunderbird looks awesome, and Powerpark has loads of Go-karts as well so I wouldn't mind getting out there at some point!
