Nothing says "we are a strong company" like trying to force a company into an arrangement. Whatever Danny Rogers takes to get these "visions" is some strong stuff.

Only feasible option - Dixie Landin' buys Mega Zeph and The Jester and the rides get relocated there. Then, just bull-doze the whole thing.

Only thing that would work there is a water park.

That's it, that's the list.

Let me get this straight: the evidence these guys are trying to provide is the following quote?

"The Nickelodeon brand is perfect for the redevelopment of this area and will make a very positive impact on the City of New Orleans,"

Could someone please explain to me how that translates into:

On August 18th, Mayor Nagin publicly announced firmly that the site was a Nickelodeon site.

I should also add that they are making an offer to the city to buy the land outright while also claiming they can't get investors because the city hasn't finalized its deal with Six Flags. So now they are trying to buy land from someone that by their own admission doesn't even have control of the land yet?

It's a shame politicians in New Orleans/Louisana haven't figured out by now that this guy is nothing but a scam artist...but not the least bit surprising.

First of all I hope all of you had a good Thanksgiving! Southern Star Amusement Inc. has made the offer to the city and we are waiting for an answer. We hope to know soon and will keep you posted one way or the other. My company has invested a large sum of money and time in this project and we are not walking away. No matter what happens with the NO park we will build in this area (LA or MS) I hope it is on the old park site as it would be the best for the city and my company as well. For now we are waiting for an answer, lets all hope the city can get this one right.

All the best of the season!

Danny Rogers dropped by SFNO.com's forums to leave a little message... There sure seems to be a lot of hope left in this man...
