Why does it seem like post approval takes forever?

I'm a really patient person, but sometimes it seems like it takes day for something of mine to be approved.

Is this just like a very careful way of moderating (even though some posts have only taken like an hour to be approved,) or is nobody around for long amounts of time?

I guess while I'm here, I may as well ask (even though it's probably listed in rules) when the "must wait for approval thing" goes away? That is if it does.

Thanks. Also, I still love the amazing singing in this video of yours:

You have to exceed a certain number of posts on the forum (I believe it's 50, but don't quote me on that), before you do not have to get your threads approved by one of the mods. I encourage you to get active on some of the forums, have fun, and really get the most out of all the amazingness that TPR has to offer. And you'll notice, the more active you are, the quicker it is to slide into discussions, instead of being the new kid on the block. Just make a couple posts a day and within a couple weeks, you'll be good to go with making- not having to be approved posts and forums. Hopes this helps and welcome to TPR!!

Thank you Mr. Corn, I'll do what I can (certainly not spam, that's bad) to finally be able to post without the approval.

As for Robb, I was just asking. Goodness. I was just trying to get answers overall because it seems like I'm not able to fit into conversations with other people here. People will be discussing something and I'll try to join the conversation, but by the time my posts are approved, the chat ended 3 days ago.

Sorry for bothering.

Your posts haven't even needed to be "approved" for some time. So why are you complaining?!?!? Please stop wasting my time.

Do you get some sort of notification when your posts are not approved? I sent my first one several days ago and it has not been approved nor have I received an explanation. Thanks

Sometimes the moderators send notifications, but in the past we have had people "complain" that they get constant notifications. So I usually approve without sending a notification.

I do not see a post of yours in the queue to be approved. Do you remember what thread you posted in and the nature of the post. We sometimes delete posts that look like spam or are written in a way to redirect away from TPR. i.e.: Hey that's great, but go here and look at this video.
