Parc asterix "premium" passes

Postby caffeine_demon » Thu Jul 05, 2012 7:18 am

Hi,

Does anyone know if you can buy the new premium passes at Parc asterix on the day, or separate from your entry ticket?

Thanks

I didn't see anything about 'upgrading' your ticket to the Journee Premium when we were there. We pre-purchased it for everyone as it includes admission and much more. I cannot tell you how much it is worth every penny!!!! There is a room to the left of the main entrance where you go for it if you're interested in getting it the day of.

I was just planning a little flyover to paris next weekend for Asterix, St paul and Jardin D'acclimatation, and I've just noticed on another thread that next Sat is Bastille day! SO I'm wondering:

1 - Do I go somewhere else?
2 - Do I go to asterix on the friday before?
3 - do I stick to my original plan of St paul and Jardin on saturday, and asterix on sunday, but get the premium pass?

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....

^No matter what you'll need the premium pass at Asterix. I'd imagine Jardin could be crazy, but Parc St. Paul seemed pretty laid back and away from the cities.

Changed my plans a bit - getting the overnight coach on thursday, and Parc St Paul on friday (There is actually a bus that goes there from beauvais - but not on saturday as it's bastille day)

The bus times are slightly annoying - I'll get either 1.5 hours there, or 5 hours - looks like it;s a 2-3 hour park particularly if you want to take pics, do the 20 min boat thing and get a few rerides on the mad pax contraptions! Beauvais looks a nice little town, so I'll spend an hour or 2 there before as well!

Saturday I'll do Jardin and france miniature, and maybe the montparnasse tower - was thinking about the eiffel tower but they're on reduced lifts at the mo - and you can't buy any tickets for that weekend at all! (and they say to allow at least 2 hours to queue if you're buying on the day)

Sunday I've got the premium pass for asterix - other than transdemonium (and the other coasters), what are some must do rides that aren't on the premium pass? Oh - and do they have fluffy, fluffy bunnies filled with medicine and goo? I've read some reports that say you have to take bags with you on goudurix.

and then the overnight coach back....

^Not on the Journee Premium that you may be interested in...

- Three other credits
- Transdemonium
- Spinning Rapids Ride
- Splash down boat
- Rapids
- All other flat rides

If you need to get all the credits I would recommend the following:

- Kiddie near Oz'Iris
- Vol d'Icare
- Transdemonium
- Small Kiddie (it usually doesn't open with the park)
Then start getting all the credits with the pass and other rides you want

so - how does the merging work with the regular queue? do you still get to choose where to sit, or are there rows roped off hershey style?

^It's France. The 'way it worked' changed throughout the day based on ride, ride op, time of day, random whim's, etc.
