Considering how quickly the Zamperla Thunderbolt coasters seem to go from 'That was surprisingly smooth' to 'never again', maybe it's a good thing they're identifying issues and adjusting as early as possible.
Before stealth was named what it was today, thorpe park was planning to name the ride "edge" and there is proof to back this up, im wondering where to find a clear logo for it (there is a concept art logo on multiple claw machines in the ghost train area)
I have got my rooms locked in!!!!! After doing some soul searching I just could not disagree with your logic of buying FL every day and going longer hours. It’s simply not worth it to risk maybe having a disappointment over a few more dollars or a few more hours(I got to thinking about how 10pm will let me rest around 5-6pm and provide less hurry like you say).
I will arrive June 16 and have the next 3 full days after that. So three and a half days. Personally I’m not a great photographer so if I do a report it will be fairly light. Thanks so much for all your patience
Crossing my fingers on Top thrill 2. Thanks everyone.
I read, and I enjoy.
And Tornado was too painful for me to love in turbo mode, so I get it!
Jealous you found the weird elevator in Helsinki (I thought about it but ran out of time) and, unrelatedly, now I want to go back to Aarhus.
Or maybe I just need a break from Ohio.
Thanks for posting all of this. Know how much work it is (which is why I can't find the time to do it anymore) but it's great to look back at a fun three weeks.
I'd be curious as to what HFE paid for the park. IIRC the final purchase price was to be determined a few years down the road based on how the park performed. When Ed Hart sold the park originally to Premier no cash changed hands...Premier assumed the $60+ million in debt the park had at the time. Makes me wonder if they ever really turned much of a profit.
A couple of years later....
Just bought this thru eBay. It's a wonderful mini of Tokyo Disneyland's Space Mountain, in recognition of it's "Final Ignition." Which will be at the end of July, when it closes for good, and is re-imagined and rebuilt (and moved back several hundred feet), for a 2027(?) opening. When you remove the Mountain itself off the base, the light show can be projected on the ceiling. A very cool souvenir.
The box.
What it can do.
Mine, lit up.
Pretty.
One of the Japan sellers I deal with, thru eBay, always sends me extra stuff along with what I've bought from her. Lately, she sent me a small catalog of souvenirs available in the new Fantasy Springs, opening in June. The writing is all Japanese, but the photos show what's available. I especially get a kick out of the 'hairdos' that the Elsa and Anna dolls have.
