I visited the park in the summer of either 1981 or 1982 during a week long trip to NO. We went to the park several times that week and rode as much as we could. Ragin' Cajun and Zephyr were our favorites, of course. I have pictures from this park stored away somewhere. Thanks for the trip down memory lane! ~K

Yay for the upper 30-something crowd! My first coaster was the Runaway Mine Train at SFOT. I believe I was about 5 or 6. One of my most vivid memories is of riding The Shockwave (SFOT) for the 1st time in 1978 at the age of 10. That is probably what sparked my love of coasters and it is still one of my favs.

What a great park!! Those of us who haven't had the opportunity to travel abroad much are very appreciative of the regular updates. Stay safe!

Wow!! That breakdown after the Magic Springs thing is just freaky--I glad you guys weren't upside down. Have fun and try not to break anything else!!
