  1. https://www.everland.com/everland/announcement/CNT-7A927603-E186-44A2-BC7B-B2F82BABA57B/01 Just got informed of sad news. Fu Bao, a panda, will be going back to China in early April. It's stated that Fu Bao will be moving to Sichuan Province in China.
  2. Just visited and experienced this myself! It was an amazing ride I've ever had. I will try to take more photos so I can describe some trip report for you.
  3. Breaking News: Everland's 'Magic Tree' (which you can see after getting into the park) caught fire. Thankfully, there are no injuries, and currently it's under investigation what caused a fire. https://news.nate.com/view/20230512n29250 According to the Korean media, this 'Magic Tree' fire was quickly extinguished in 25 minutes, thanks to combined efforts of Everland firefighting team and firefighter from Incheon Songdo Fire Station. (Article has a photo of firefighter from Incheon Songdo Fire Station, who aided Everland firefighting team in their firefighting efforts.) He was in off-duty at that time, so he visited Everland with his wife and son. Everland proposed that they will provide new cloth for him, but he refused, stating that he already has one. One member in online Everland community posted the aftermath of fire. It's a tragedy this famous tree got damaged by blaze.
  4. South Korea is facing unfortunate controversy due to 'Fast Pass' system. It started as one professor throwing a question in television program: "In capitalist society, more and more people buy time with money, and are these moves can be justified?" Some people who didn't agree with fast pass system stated these opinions: "If the person who came later enters first, it will be difficult for the children to understand." "The problem is some people use money to take away someone else's time." However, I have to say, this Fast Pass system is necessary, for several reasons. 1. "The problem is some people use money to take away someone else's time." -This is why many theme parks divide the line of fast pass with stand-by, so fast pass guests doesn't negatively affect stand-by guests. 2. "If the person who came later enters first, it will be difficult for the children to understand." -Then, how would you tell children about VIP tours, Backstage tours and other exclusive experiences? 3. People like foreign tourists and people who came from really far like countryside needs fast pass, as their visit can be final visit. Surely, I don't know why this became center of controversy in my country. I'm extremely confused...
  5. I managed to obtain some videos of Lotte World new attraction: 'PUBG Battlegrounds World Agent', by Triotech. On May 2, C-130 transport plane took 50 lucky VIPs to island of Erangel for early experience. I will show the video taken by one of the VIPs. C-130 transport plane will officially start taking general public guests from May 5 (Children's Day in South Korea). Height limit: 140cm or taller, 120cm~140cm can be admitted with an adult. Due to 'PUBG Battlegrounds' theme, all employees working in this attraction will give you orders in military fashion, so don't be surprised. 'PUBG Battlegrounds World Agent' theme story: Guests, thinking about having a great time as PVP player of PUBG Battlegrounds, board on C-130 transport plane set to travel to the battleground on the island of Erangel. However, debris from an explosion near an abandoned nuclear facility hits the plane and forces it to crash land at the Sosnovka Military Base. https://pubg.fandom.com/wiki/Erangel/Sosnovka_Military_Base Guests survive the crash, but unknown enemies ambush them. Guests have to fight the enemies with their guns, and must escape back to Lotte World at any cost. Shooting area 1: Street Fight Shooting area 2: Gunfight on the moving truck Video of C-130 transport plane: Video of full experience:

As you know Triotech is famous for several attractions, including 'XD Dark Ride', which Lotte World already has one. Recently, Lotte World's XD Dark Ride changed its ride film to 'Robot Riot'. Story: Breaking News! Armies of alien robots have descended upon the earth and are wreaking havoc in a bid to take control of the Earth. Famous cities around the world is under attack, with the civilians panicking. Use your gun to take these alien robots down and save the world! Good Luck! Theme Story: Guests, thinking about having a great time as PVP player of PUBG Battlegrounds, board on C-130 transport plane set to travel to the battleground on the island of Erangel. Guests have to fight the enemies with their guns, and must escape back to Lotte World at any cost. https://blog.naver.com/themeparkbuff_blog/222993861268 According to images from famous Korean blogger, this experience will have 2 shooting areas. Shooting area 1: Street Fight Shooting area 2: Gunfight on the moving truck I just realized this experience might be similar to experience of 'Fear The Walking Dead: Survival' in Trans Studio Bali. Located in Indonesia, this indoor amusement park in shopping mall is extremely famous, and currently, this ride is still open, but with some ride name change. Story: Guests are a group of survivors who seek refuge after zombies attacked Bali, Indonesia. However, a leader of shelter sends a bad news that he can't accept guests into the community, due to lack of supplies and survivors. With a new deal, guests are sent into the building basement where they shoot down the zombies while survivors try to collect supplies before leaving to new safe zone in airport. With supplies retrieved, now guests are sent into the truck that sends them into hospital overtaken by zombies and the streets of Bali, where zombies have taken over. Guests must defend themselves using a gun until they successfully arrive into a safe zone in airport. Order: 1. Elevator: Guests ride a elevator down to shelter, only to hear a bad news from a leader of shelter that he can't accept guests into the community, due to lack of supplies and survivors. With a new deal, guests are sent into the building basement where they will shoot down zombies while survivors try to collect supplies. 2. Basement (1st shooting area): Guests take down zombies with their guns to help survivors collect supplies. Later, alarm gets triggered, sending guests into a truck, ready to transport them to new safe zone in the airport. 3. Truck (2nd shooting area): Guests ride on the truck that goes through fallen hospital and streets of Bali. They have to shoot down zombies while truck is taking them to new safe zone in the airport. 4. Safe Zone (End Results): Once truck arrives in the safe zone, guests can see their scores by their pictures taken in the middle of the ride. 'PUBG Battlegrounds World Agent 'expected order: 1. C-130 transport plane: C-130 transport plane takes off after guests board in. However, debris from an explosion near an abandoned nuclear facility hits the plane and forces it to crash land at the Sosnovka Military Base. 2. Street Fight (1st shooting area): Guests hide on the building debris and engage themselves in a gunfight, taking down unknown enemies who ambushes them. 3. Truck (2nd shooting area): Guests ride on the truck, and engage themselves in a gunfight, taking down enemies while truck tries to transport them into escape area. 4. Escape (End Results): Once truck arrives safely back to Lotte World, guests can see their scores by their pictures taken in the middle of the ride.
  8. I found interesting video from ReviewTyme. Apparently, he is frustrated that Disney is making same ride in different place, like Runaway Railway, and Tron LightCycle Run. Some people say parks should have different, unique rides to make themselves special, but for Tron LightCycle Run, I disagree, since due to China's disastrous Zero-Covid policy, I became uncomfortable with visiting China anytime soon, so I hoped Disney could bring the Tron light cycle to the USA, and with that happening, I'm delighted to see it in Magic Kingdom, and I can't wait to go on it. What are your opinion? Should Disney have different unique rides that could be experienced at only one park, or multiple parks so guests can ride it in their town without leaving to another country?
  9. Can't believe even phone's owner was so irresponsible! This is the reason why roller coasters in my country strictly say 'no' to smartphones on the ride. One park I know even displays one damaged smartphone they found below the coaster, adding the fact it hit another rider on the hand, causing the injury. I think it was 'T-Express'. 답글
  10. https://news.naver.com/main/read.naver?mode=LSD&mid=sec&sid1=102&oid=214&aid=0001173931 Everland just got hit with the disaster, which is criminal case. Woman (who was the guest) detected suspicious activity in the woman's restroom near the Snow Buster (sled riding area). It was revealed that someone was filming secretly with the phone, from the next room. According to victim's statement, culprit was covered with the coat, while trying to act like a woman. He tried to flee to man's restroom, but arrested. According to police, it is assumed that the man used the backdoor of the woman's bathroom to get in there. It was revealed that the culprit was a part-time employee of Everland. According to media, Everland had another incident of spycam last month (for this incident, culprit escaped undetected, and case remains unresolved).
  11. https://www.koreatimes.co.kr/www/nation/2022/01/113_321998.html It's extremely tragic event for Everland...
  12. Indian multinational news channel, WION, just released a video report featuring Everland.
  13. The Light of Hope from Sonic Forces It's my favorite, since it raises me up in the pandemic.
  14. Before going to a new park that I don't know, I always check the park's website. In the website, I check for park hours, refurbishment schedule (meaning check which rides will be closed on the day of the visit), complete map of the park, any seasonal events taking place (like Halloween, Christmas), directions to reach the park , shows and parades, whether the park has an official app on the mobile etc. After that, I always make reservation for tickets, so I can go directly to the entrance gate once I arrive. When making reservation, I check for extras that can be added on my purchase, like paid line-jumping (Ex. Express ticket in Universal Studios, Flash Pass in Six Flags) and dining deals. Things I buy in website depends whether the park is easily reachable or takes a lot of time to arrive. If the park is easily reachable, like local theme parks, I always go for a general entry ticket with no extras. On the other hand, if the park is in foreign country or so far away, I always buy extras like VIP ticket so I can have best experience, while making reservation on hotel if I think I need an extra day. In addition, I always check for weather forecast so I don't ruin the day by the rain or inclement weather. Finally, I check for facilities in the park, like restroom, phone recharging service etc. Oh, about phone recharging service...it is the facility that my local theme parks provide. You have to drop some money to use it, but it fully recharges smartphones, so phone battery doesn't go dead in the park. On the day of the visit, arriving at the gate early is theme park survival tip 101. I always rush to the popular rides so I can ride it with less wait time, and after that I look at the map and take some time to determine next ride that I will be riding on. Due to my personality of being shy and not much being a talker, I prefer ordering food in kiosks and mobile. If there is any show or parade that I want to watch, I go to the spot early so I can get a best view. Then, I have fun until the park closing time. This is how I visit the new parks.
