  1. The Berserkers tent is pretty permanent and not easily dissasembled. My opinion on those locations for a haunt attraction is that they are too "out in the open" and very blatant for the summer season leading to lots of confused guests asking how to get on "that ride"
  2. I would like to make a note that if you are an employee of any Cedar Fair park you risk your job endorsing and releasing such info to the public on a forum like this. One of the reasons why I cautiously limit what I post on here as some of the information I hear hasn't been released to the general public yet.
  3. Thanks. I didn't quite understand that when I looked at the calendar a couple days ago but makes sense now. The haunt at my home park doesn't close to re-open so this is something I haven't seen before.
  4. Hey Guys, I plan to visit KSF this fall coming from Valleyfair. Are the dates for KSF something that gets released to the Press just like the mazes do or are they already posted somewhere? I'm hoping to find a day that doesn't interfere with my job at Valleyscare but will probably have to take a day off for this trip. Thanks.
  5. I saw him today as I was working walking with Brad Marcy and a few other people. I do not remember seeing Rob Decker.
  6. No. Unless it was a very short event - a few weekends in late November IF the weather cooperates. It gets too cold here. Us, Michigan's Adventure, and Dorney Park are unlikely to ever get Winter Fest. I doubt Cedar Point or Canada's Wonderland will get it either. Post deleted
  7. I was in Haunt this past season and I will be in Park Services this summer. I didn't hesitate in choosing a department because I already knew the best one
  8. If we're going to be considered a family friendly park then that should be our excuse to get a winterfest. To be honest I do see one coming our way in the near future.
  9. Here's a low light berserkers video. You can mostly see what happens.
  10. The advocate group had nothing to do with dinoslaugher. That was discontinued because the staff was needed elsewhere.
  11. I say dont do anything to the other attractions until they are told to. The group wanted fear VR down. Maybe they wanted other asylum attractions down but we shouldnt have to remove other asylums until we are told to remove them specifically. And why is eternitiy infirmary still standing? Would cedar fair not want to do anything to their beloved cedar point? EDIT After seeing a statement on a valleyscare facebook page someone had a point that it wasnt stated that this is permanent. there's a chance they closed the attractions to prevent further problems. In a year they could bring back the mazes when people are getting triggered at something else.
  12. I dont think enough people have experienced skeleton key to know what goes on over there. So I better buy my passes before its gone
  13. Woah, when did this all happen? Please tell me this isn't related to the FearVR situation in California. Also, what is happening with Dinoslaughter? I know it's hilariously bad, but with a name like Dinoslaughter they probably knew that was how it was going to turn out going in so why are they just now deciding to shut it down? Speaking of Dinoslaughter, what was the deal with that random fun house tunnel at the beginning? The only thing I can think of is traveling back in time? It is. It was shut down for that reason. The advocate group is out to shut them all down. Eternity Infirmary is still standing however. Cedar Point probably wont remove it until they are forced to. And yes it is for time travel. Dino was discontinued because they needed the staff elsewhere.
