  1. I have hopes for a roller coaster in 2017 but would be happy with a waterpark expansion or new thrill ride. I actually think that there still is a chance that we're getting a rollercoaster in 2017, we have seen land clearing by minebuster earlier this year and we've recently just seen more. The two options that I'm thinking is the lime green track or a minebuster RMC. The park is probably waiting for splashworks to close (September 5) before they start construction. If the track is for a wingrider we know he fast those go up. I don't think we should bet our money on a new coaster but we also shouldn't ignore the possibility.
  2. This is the teasing we got. _10157197388970447_3912465558909412382_n
  3. I'd like to see higher quality in the mazes, last year I wasn't that impressed. They need to be more immersive and the actors really need to work on their scare game. I'm hoping that Club Blood, Terror of London, and Streets of the Undead are retired. I'd love to see improvements on the Asylum, and Sci-Fi house I found them poorer last year then years before. For new mazes I'd love to the return of Slaughter Mill, or Miner's Revenge. I'd also like to see them add a Doll Factory type maze and something original. I hope they improve their scare zones and I hope they extend the Haunt schedule to start it in September. EDIT: I hope they make the night longer too. I couldn't see them removing Club Blood in all honesty (unfortunately). Club Blood seems to be a Halloween Haunt staple to Wonderland along with Cornstalkers and Asylum. I couldn't see them removing any of these. I hope we see Streets and Terror of London gone as well. Unfortunately, I think Club Blood will stay. Streets is a good maze but it's getting old now eh. EDIT: Haunt starts on September 30, it will actually start early this year!!!

  5. I personally think for Wonderland to get a better coaster lineup they must get rid of their bad coasters. They've already started the process by removing Sky Rider. Next up on the cutting board should be Time Warp, Flight Deck, and a wooden coaster. Replace those with good coasters and then we'll have an amazing lineup.
  6. I think the blue area is all scraps. Last year I noticed that there were Egyptian things back there along with spare metal (Could of been from Pharaoh's Eye or Pharaohs Falls, I don't know though that's from before my time). I think it's scraps from defunct rides.
  7. Why would Kings Island get a new coaster if they just got Banshee a couple of years ago.
  8. Agreed 100%... Such snappy and awesome transitions in that cobra roll. They're more of "half corkscrews" than "turns" though. I think he was talking about corkscrew
  9. Went to haunt last night and the mazes were really good. Ranked Mazes. 1. Cornstalkers (10/10) 2. Blood Shed (9/10) 3. Streets of the Undead (7/10) 4. The Ruins (7/10) 5. Sci-Fi House (6/10) 6. The Asylum (6/10) 7. Louisiana Scream (6/10) 8. Spirit Manor (5/10) 9. Terror of London (4/10) 10. Club Blood (2/10) Cornstalkers- This has to be the cream of the crop of mazes at wonderland. It is by far the most immersive one there with full of scares. As we entering the maze someone scared got us really well. It was full of scares throughout the maze. By far the most immersive maze there with the most screams. Blood Shed- The scariest maze of them all. Really well done, felt like I was in barn. Really well done, there were scares throughout the maze. A 180 degree turn around from last years Blood She. Streets of the Undead- Same layout, works really well though. I felt like I was walking around town looking for safety and supplies for the apocaplypes. Really well done, great scare by the subway and lots of surprises. The Ruins- Very immersive until the end with the lava floor which ruined it. Not a lot of scares, very cool maze though. Very well done, complete and to the point. Sci-Fi House- Lackluster due to same layout, not a lot of scares and was a let down. Was one of my favourites last year and was very dissapointed this year. The Asylum- Felt very incomplete and short. It really only had one section that made up for the rest of it. Wonderland dropped the ball with this one this year. As I was entering the maze you can see behind the scenes, ruined the whole maze experience. Lousinia Scream- By far the biggest let down for me. It was poorly done, felt unfinished and un immersive. No scares in it, boring and short. Not living up to expectations. I hope it's gone next year. Spirit Manor- It was really good looking and somewhat immersive. What ruined it for me was the lack of scares, the actors would just look at us and not do anything. They were'nt scary at all. The most they would do is ask us a question like "What are you doing here?" and a lot of them told us to get out, it got repetitive. The best part was the grand stair case at the beginning. Terror of London- Boring and dull. No scares, the only upside was that it was eye appealing. Club Blood- Wow, what a failure. Boring, not well done, short, no scares, not immersive. It was really bad, there was only like 2 sections of the maze that had to do with a club and they were both bad. Over all I think Corn Stalkers, Blood Shed, and The Ruins, can stay the way they are. Sic-Fi House, Streets, and The Asylum could use a revamp to return them to their former glory. Spirit Manor should get a bit more characters and work on their scare game. Loisiana Scream, Terror of London, and Club Blood should take a bow and retire from haunt.
  10. Haunt is coming up and it's the only thing on my mind right now, I'm the 3rd I'm pumped. I was looking at the maze line up and was a little disappointed to see that Clowns at Midnight was gone. I then thought about some successful mazes at Haunt and some failures. Some successes are Corn Stalkers, Asylum, Clowns. Some failures were Iron Empire, Terror of London (2011). I then though about what would the best maze line up look like (being limited to 10 mazes). This is my list. - Corn Stalkers (2005-Present). - Blood on the Bayou (2010-2013). - Clowns at Midnight (2007-2015). - Miners Revenge (2007-2012). - The Asylum (2007-Present). - Slaughter Mill (2007-2009). - Sci-Fi House (2013-Present). - The Ruins (2013-Present). - Kingdom of Carnage (2008-2013). - Red Beards Rage (2008-2013). There are a couple that were considered at nearly made the list (Blood Shed, Streets of the Undead). Next year I hope Club Blood, Terror of London get the boot because those ones are probably the worst out of the ten. I'm optimistic about Spirit Manor it's pretty much brining back Massacre Manor, a retired maze. I hope Canada's Wonderland discontinues this pattern of bringing back old mazes and create new mazes. Let bygones be bygones.
