  1. Each time I’ve been to CP, the ticket booth outside of the front gates opened at 8:45 am. I’ve purchased FL+ there multiple times before early entry; however, you cannot actually use the FL lines until 10 am.
  2. Awesome, thank you Mike and Ken! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I have a bizarre question! With Cedar Fair platinum passes, can you visit two different parks in one day? We’re in Mason right now visiting KI, and we were thinking of going tomorrow for a couple hours tomorrow before driving up to Sandusky for the second leg of our trip. Does anyone know if our platinum passes would work at CP if they’ve been scanned at KI earlier that day? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. It’s behind Afterburn. We found it on accident, but went back multiple times. Great break from the heat and awesome game/ride. Boo Blasters was running while we were there the last few days! Another great break from the heat, and fun game as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I don’t post much but had to reply to this! Agreed, 100%. Fury is a masterpiece. Got lucky enough to end my night at Carowinds with a front row night ride after marathoning it all day/evening. Absolutely incredible. I also enjoyed Afterburn, Intimidator, Hurler (I have a strange love for rickety old wooden coasters) and the Plants vs Zombies game/arena ride thingy. [emoji5]
  6. I’ve noticed an awful lot of technical difficulties as well. There was one day where nearly everything we got in line for broke down. Giant is the #1 culprit, but it also happened with Titan and Judge a couple times. I have no idea what the problem is, though. Airboss, sorry I can’t help you - I tend to go on Sunday nights since the park is usually empty, and as a local with a season pass, I don’t care really if I don’t get to ride much. What I can say is Texas Giant is a must-do, but it’s usually not open with the park. I would head that way and ride Titan first if Giant isn’t open. Giant is finicky and draws a crowd, so I would suggest doing it early on to ensure you get a ride. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I think it was $4 for one and $7 for two, but I don’t remember for sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Maverick is what comes to mind because it doesn't seem impressive as far as stats go, but it is. I hadn't bothered with POVs or even looked twice when I got on. That is one of CP's best, and one of my all time favorites. Flight of Fear at KI was another one, but we rolled back and the lights came on, so I did see the track before riding, technically. Last but not least, NTAG, because I hadn't discovered POVs yet. I'd ridden the original Texas Giant a trillion times, and I was actually sad to see it go until I discovered the magic of RMC. I was blown away. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. I went in early June last year. We flew into Cleveland, rode out severe weather warnings at the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame (so amazing, by the way) then drove to Sandusky in the evening. We decided to drive by CP to find everything was completely closed due to a power outage, and they later announced the park wouldn't open the following day, either. We ended up driving down to KI the next day and doing CP the day after. Plus, they comped our room at Breakers Express for one night, which was nice. It was also abnormally cold for June according to locals, so I'm sure that shift had something to do with the severe weather. The weather definitely isn't predictable, but maybe summer is more reliable than late spring? I know that's the case where I live... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Wow. What a mess! I'm glad everyone is safe, though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. You guys make me want to give Joker a shot! I wasn't impressed with Batman at SFFT, but I'm optimistic after hearing that y'all have enjoyed this one! Weather isn't looking good for this evening, though. Hope everyone at the park stays safe! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Looking forward to your review. I'm curious if this will have a slightly different feel to it than the other S&S 4Ds. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. I'm gonna wait for the lines to die down before I get on this one. I wasn't impressed with Batman at SFFT. I'll give this one a fair shake, but I don't want to battle crowds for it. Is anyone else going? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I waited 3 hours for X (before it was X2) at SFMM. Would've been 4, but it broke down, most people got out of line, then it was running again in about 15 minutes. But it was worth it - I haven't been to SFMM since. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
