  1. Those are incredible! They're pretty much all worthy of being computer wallpapers.
  2. What do you mean, that the slide is damaged now? It should be covered in snow, so my guess would be that nothing too bad happened. Never said it was damaged, for all we know it could have been a cheap plastic sled. But some people still prefer the old-styled sleds with metal runners, so the thought crossed my mind. But I'm sure if something was damaged, Mt. Olympus would fix it before next season, right? Right..? Lol I understand now. Suuuurrrreeee they will
  3. It's really unfortunate to hear, and our thoughts are with the family. I do imagine that people sneaking into the outdoor park is way more common than we realize. What do you mean, that the slide is damaged now? It should be covered in snow, so my guess would be that nothing too bad happened.
  4. Lol good question, this is an entertaining thread to read. I used to wear cargo shorts, but the last few years I've almost always worn jeans or long pants when going to parks, usually because it's cooler at night when I go. I pretty much always bring a zip-up fleece, with zipper pockets, and I've found that that's perfect for keeping my phone and other stuff in (even if it gets a little warm during the day).
  5. I flew through DFW today and was lucky enough to catch this view on the approach. It's a little tough to see, but you can see Titan, Judge Roy, and the Texas SkyScreamer pretty well. Kind of tough to see, but it was a good welcome to the city! Side note: it's been a while since I last posted, but I'm excited to get back at it now.
  6. Turns out some friends and I are in town for a conference, so we made a late decision to visit Disneyland on Friday! We're not doing DCA, and won't be able to get to the park until 1ish. Any suggestions for how to best tackle the day? I don't care what we do because I've been there a few times, but the others have never been to the park. Seeing Disneyland Forever is my biggest priority.
  7. Good for them! I'm really glad to see the success and growth of Fun Spot.
  8. This is the first summer that I have nothing planned for sure... DLR is 90% sure in May however! And then maybe a few trips to SFGAm.
  9. Instagram-For sure my most visited site, used for looking and posting frequently. Facebook-I go on it a lot, but almost never post or respond outside of groups. There's no need to be involved in political drama with people that I barely even know.
  10. The anticipation of a potential DLR trip in May gives me something to look forward to. I'll also be trying to get to SFOT at least once this winter, so hopefully it's not looking to be a really rough off season like it usually is in the north...
  11. I read them! There's usually at least one or two forums or reports that I visit because of it.
  12. I couldn't agree more as far as SFStl and MIA go. Those were the two that popped right into my mind when I saw the name of the thread.
