  1. Attending the park again on the 17th and 18th (There is an event on the 17th) but hopefully it won't be too crowded since I am guessing that a lot of the guests will be enjoying the concerts... Lets just hope the weather turns out fine for that weekend, last time we couldn't fully enjoy the park on our last day because it rained When does school start in ATL? Aug 7th? Will it be pretty comfy on those days?
  2. From my understanding Goliath was down for 'maintenance' ! Hopefully I'll catch it on my next trip! Alright I will look into going in September, I don't mind the heat, I am from the caribbean and I currently live in Orl very bipolar weather lol but again I will take your advice, my worry is more of the attendance and not being able to enjoy it as much, and well the weather, but not much I can do..
  3. Hey guys sorry to bother again! When is a great time to visit after July? I am thinking early August once school starts around Atlanta and the surrounding areas? or maybe mid Aug! Thanks!
  4. So because of the season passes, we decided to go on Sat to process them as well as get a feel for the parking, park, and overall timing....everything went very smooth! Goliath was down this weekend, but I am happy to say we got on everything else! on the first day we couldn't ride Superman but took advantage of it first thing on Sunday, we rode it twice in a row! then it started raining but we got on a few things here and there, but going twice definitely helped, I would like to go back in August, when is a great time? any recommendations? Since I just experienced this, I can try and help anyone with any questions
  5. Weather doesn't look too good for this weekend, how have you guys (and six flags) dealt with it in the past, I am coming from Orlando... http://www.weather.com/weather/5-day/Austell+GA+USGA0034:1:US
  6. Hotel booked Season passes purchased Can't wait! So I read about a few other things maybe you guys can clarify... Offsite parking that runs about $5-$10? I read some are a longer walk some a closer walk? Park opening around 30 min early to keep the incoming crowds flowing? (I plan on making good timing regardless but this would be great)
  7. I noticed the season passes are available and on sale... I am going the weekend of April 27-29. If i purchase the season pass now when does it expire?
  8. I am thinking about booking for one of the weekends after spring break (4/27-4/29), I have a feeling it would die down a bit? Since you guys started mentioning the March 31st I am tempted and it is on a Sunday! (Y) hmmm
  9. Appreciate it very informative (Y) I guess we'll resort to heading back to our room for some lunch! So to get this right for the summer is when they are open for the week as well? Are they renovating or is this typical of Six flags (just curious) How about the hours of operation for a Sunday? can you give me an idea?
  10. Thinking about heading out to SFOG with my girlfriend from Orlando, FL about a month or so after opening day! I am planning on staying at the Wyndham since they have some pretty good specials as well as I can get a discount if it comes down to it + I heard its close to the park (within walking distance) which I can save those $20 on parking for something else!, Any tips? Suggestions? Would it be worth visiting the park on a Monday? for example If we get to Georgia on a Sunday, check-in, and visit the park Monday in hopes of being able to enjoy it without the long lines especially since the drive is 6 hrs! lol maybe the days of 21-23rd, we'll both be off from work/school and can make this happen we'll have to return the 23rd so I doubt we'll be getting the season pass to visit the park twice, does this sound pretty reasonable to those who have experience SFOG frequently? Opening day is March 16th and I haven't been able to check out pricing for tickets though it states General admission is $56, are there any online specials? or is that the online pricing as well? sucks that I might have to wait until then but I can definitely book ahead and purchase tix once they go on sale, am I gonna experience a headache doing this or should it be fine? Restaurants nearby? I am not a fan of theme park food, (breakfast is covered) but how about for lunch can I exit the park and return w/o any issues if I please to do so? Park Operations on a Monday? Thanks in advance! Ill def appreciate the help
