  1. I e-mailed Six Flags about tickets and they told me that individual prices were $15 The Express Haunt Wristband is $59.99 per person, with the regular wristbands being $19.99 (taken from the SFGA website) Here is the e-mail that I was sent about individual tickets~ Thank you for your interest in Six Flags Great America and taking the time to contact us. Purchasing the wristband is the least expensive option available. For $19.99 you are able to participate in all of the haunted attractions. Individual tickets can be purchased for $15.00. If you have any further questions or concerns, we will be glad to answer them via email response or by phone. You can reach us at (847) 249-INFO (4636) during business hours (9am-5pm), Monday through Friday. Thank you, Jason Guest Services Supervisor
  2. I went to Fright Fest this past weekend. I don't do any of the scary stuff and I get out of the park around 4 when the actors come out. I stayed for the parade where they had Tiny the Spider in the back of the hurse. You can just see her legs. There is a gravestone set up right next to the entrance to Sector 7. There is a huge pile of dirt off to the left of the grave but after the parade, nothing happened. I'm not sure if they are actually burying the spider or not, but the parade was kind of dissapointing in that aspect. Here are some pictures of the decorations and the zombie parade. Enjoy because I won't be going back Part of the Sector 7 decor Main entrance decor Hometown Square In front of Buccaneer Battle The ride graveyard by the old Iron Wolf I still love these cars and I'm glad that they were saved for now Tiny's Grave Tiny's legs trailing from the hurse
  3. I don't really mind serving alcohol at the restaurant, just as long as they don't start spreading it around the park. Walt Disney did not want alcohol inside Magic Kingdom at all. This is going against his wishes, which is sad. That is my only problem with the idea is that Walt Disney would have hated it.
  4. China is a very interesting place. That spinning coaster looks like it could topple over at any second, you all are brave! Love reading your trip reports and I can't wait for the next one.
  5. Oh darn, I guess I will have to take a trip to Legoland This sounds so awesome. It is amazing what people can do with Legos!
  6. Your night time photos are stunning. I love all of the lights!
  7. While in line for Mission Space in WDW Epcot, (Talking about the large, spinning model in the beginning of the queue) "That wasn't there when I rode this ride yesterday" ~ yes, it was just magically dropped right into the queue in less than 24 hours!!
  8. Just got back from SFGA today. Rode X Flight for the first time and here is my opinion: The themeing is pretty cool, much different than most of the other roller coasters at the park. I was really impressed with how the ride looked. The mist feature and the tower are really different and fun. The actual ride itself, I was kind of dissapointed. It is def.a ride that I have never been on before so that makes it kind of cool. However, my friend and I got off and looked at each other and said "that's it?" It was just really short and I felt like there wasn't a lot of speed to the ride. I really enjoyed the part where you go through the tower, that was my favorite part. I would go on the ride again, but it is not really all the impress to me. Just my opinion, but it is still really cool and different for SFGA.
  9. I highly doubt that I will ever get to Japan, but if I do this would def. be a stop. I love Harry Potter and Universal Orlando did an amazing job. I know a lot of people do not like this idea, but at least read the books! Maybe they will change your mind
  10. There are no cubbies at any of the water rides. I am almost certain that they will let you hold your shoes, but I would ask first at the beginning of the park. As for Johnny Rockets, it might be one of the most expensives places in the park. Its good food, but not worth the really high prices. I would picnic in the parking lot
  11. I am really excited about X-Flight. I live 15 minutes away and I almost decided not to buy a pass this year. X-Flight changed my mind!
  12. Rock Bottom Plunge is such a suprise the first time you ride. It is a really cool roller coaster considering it is inside a mall. Great photos!
  13. Love your trip report!! It is very detailed and the pictures are great!
