  1. I'm sorry, but is there really this much of a discussion about someone saying "whee" on a roller coaster? Maybe I'm wrong, but what I see Robb say on his videos is pretty much exactly what I hear on any roller coaster, people just enjoying themselves. If you watch a CoasterForce or any other POV, chances are you'll hear someone in the background say a lot worse than what Robb says. Robb was being pretty polite here, and gave fair, level-headed responses and some people just continued to be absolute D-Bags. Also for someone to suggest that he's not allowed to moderate his own website, give your head a shake. I may not agree with everything Robb says on this site, but this is first and foremost HIS site, he say and moderate what he wants. There are plenty of other sites you can go to if you want pure, unfiltered pandemonium. I think you need to realize that this is first and foremost just for fun. It's only a roller coaster for god sakes. If this offends you, I can't imagine how you handle the rest of the internet.
  2. If you look at Cedar Point's coaster history, they got 3 major roller coasters in less than a 5 year span (Millennium Force in 2000, Wicked Twister 2 years after, and TTD 1 year after that). Seeing as how Cedar Fair seems to be willing to put a lot into Wonderland, I could see something similar happening here. Maybe I'm off base, but I could see Mamba being another coaster. Fingers crossed!
  3. Pleasant: SkyRider at Canada's Wonderland: I expected this ride to be hell, but other than the last turn, it was relatively smooth and forceful, and those final bunny hops give for the most interesting airtime I've ever experienced. Knott's Berry Farm: Maybe it's just because I've never seen the original Knott's, but I thought it was absolutely great for a Cedar Fair park! The staff were incredibly enthusiastic and friendly, Xcelerator was amazing, the operations were relatively quick (albeit the park was rather empty) and the Ghost Town section had a really great atmosphere! Unpleasant: Nitro: Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad ride, it's just as comfortable and smooth as you would expect a B&M to be, but after all the hype around it, I couldn't help feel that the newer hypers like Behemoth had just as much if not more airtime and forces. Although, maybe it just seemed tame after riding the beast that is El Toro.
  4. Leviathan. I want to like it so bad, but other than the drop and speed hill, there's nothing really thrilling about it. But now Behemoth's line is shorting, so no complaining here
  5. Coke= more Coke Freestyle Machines, Coke Freestyle Machines= more Cherry Vanilla Coke. Need I say more?
  6. Guys, who says it's Gerstlauer. Maurer Sohne clearly is just using new types of track.
  7. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I feel like a lot of iSpeed's supports were also sunken into the ground, like with these footers.
  8. I think with this addition, it proves that it is literally impossible not to love Liseberg! Do they ever do anything wrong?
  9. Pan's Labyrinth. Such a beautiful movie. I loved every minute of it.
  10. I can't be the only one that thought this said "Lake Compounce files for bankruptcy" at first. I know that the only reason people in my area go to parks like Darien Lake is because of the campground, so I'm pretty confident this will do well! Really hoping I can make it out to Compounce soon!
  11. I love the whole "admit one" ticket theme. It looks so nice on the iOS!
  12. That massive star on top has got to be one of the klassiest things Six Flags has ever thought of.
  13. Next year I might be going to Hersheypark, and was planning on stopping by Knoebels on the trip back home. So, do you think I'd be able to do it in 3-4 hours and just ride the best rides (Phoenix, Twister, Flyers, Skooters etc.) or do you think I would need more time? Thanks!
  14. ^Get Fast Lane. Seriously, during the summer, the only way to guarantee you get on all the rides is by buying it because the lines get pretty long. It is so worth it. Leviathan and Behemoth's lines are typical around an hour, so chances are, you'd only be able to get in about 1 or 2 rides each without Fast Lane. Leviathan is usually the busiest in the morning, because people tend to go there as soon as they get in. Personally, my favourite seat on Behemoth is the back, because you get awesome airtime on the first drop, but it does get a little rattly. Still, it's my favourite ride in the park and the airtime is heavenly. On Leviathan you either need to get the front or back, as the most airtime is found in these seats. The ride ops will assign you seats on Leviathan, but if you ask, you will almost always get the seat you want. As for food, it's pretty meh, but you should definitely try a funnel cake, they're one of the best things in the park. For a large meal, you can try the International Marketplace Buffet, just inside Medieval Faire. The food is better than the rest of the park (though still pretty meh), it's usually pretty quiet in there. It's about 20 dollars for the buffet, I think. The flat ride selection here is pretty good! Make sure you try Riptide (you will get soaked), Shockwave, Nightmares, Drop Tower, and Sledge Hammer (It`s pretty dull, but it`s unique!). Finally, be warned of Time Warp, Flight Deck and Wilde Beast. Your brain may be turned to goo after riding these. The park is really nice, and is probably the most beautiful of the Cedar Fair parks. The roller coasters for the most part may be mediocre, but Behemoth and Leviathan should make up for that! Hope you have fun!
  15. Perilous Plunge looks like it's takes up about just as much space as a Mega-Lite. If only mega-lites had something more marketable about them... Well, one can dream!
