  1. Mike, Rather thn doing full time consuming PTRs maybe you could just post your trip plans and how you are doing on your USA coaster quest on here for us non FB folks.
  2. John Why don't you post your list somewhere and let the folks be the judge rather than just talking smack. You got the data let everybody see it.
  3. Hey Big Mike! I'm in Myrtle Beach. The OD Pavilion only has the two coasters listed on RCDB. A Go-Gator and a Zyklon. They had told me they had a new coaster for 2013 but that was not true as both these coasters were new fdr 2012.
  4. Just heard there is a new coaster, not on your list, opening at the Daytona Beach Pier. You may have ridden it already at Blue Diamond Park in Delaware a few years ago. Also, word is that the Wacky Worm at Ocean Drive Pavilion in North Myrtle Beach is gone and has been replaced with a new coaster. I will be there next week and will scope it out. Also, you will need your Big Mike charm to get on the Go Gator there as they have a strict rule about no riders over 54 inches tall.

  6. Wow, I was there about 20 years ago. Thery have made propgress. There was no real face yet then, and it took imagination to even see what it would someday be!
  7. 2 ducks My family lives in MB. We got this park the first year as Hard Rock. Loved it, Freestyle not as good with the loss of the Moody Blues dark ride. Not looking good for 2012 but maybe 2013 for a reopen.
  8. Hey Mike: I must point out that your card said the Sox won't make the playoffs. They did make the playoffs so I guess the card didn't fully work!!!!
  9. Nice to put a face with Duane's name. You are right, it is one of the most useful coaster site out there. I never take a trip without seeing what will be nearby. The pics and info on each coaster is priceless!!
  10. Mike: If you are looking for a great place to eat on your way from Jiminy Peak to Santa's Workshop try the Blue Benn Diner in Bennington VT. It is considered one of America's great diners. Here is a website review. http://www.roadfood.com/Restaurant/Reviews/1870/blue-benn-diner
  11. Hey Big Mike: Just found this new South Carolina coaster credit. Maybe you can get it when you are there in September. We are there next week and will check it out. http://www.thesunnews.com/news/local/story/1003065.html
  12. Big Mike: Your trip is starting out like one Casey and I took in 2007! We left CT before dawn and drove six hours to our first stop - Jeepers in Rockville MD. We get there just before opening and there is a sign on the door that they went out of business the day before!!! We found out the Jeepers in Parkville had closed too so we lost our first two credits of the trip. The good news was we never lost one the rest of the way. Hope your trip picks up the same way and you get the rest of the credits on your schedule. Good luck!
