  1. I apologize, I was basing my Season Pass experience off Magic Mountain's site, which offers a "one park pass" for $60 and I thought it would be the same with Great Adventure. Seems odd that Great Adventure doesn't offer the same deal, as I can take my Magic Mountain pass that I bought for $60 and use it at any Six Flags park (including GA). For some reason the Great Adventure site doesn't offer a "one park pass" and it does look like you'll have to buy a $100 2 park pass if you want one. In that case, you'd be better off buying 2 tickets for the two separate days. It's very strange to me how that park is offering their passes, when ALL of the other park sites offer the pass for $60. Maybe someone that visits the park could weigh in the reasoning, or if you can in fact buy a $60 one park pass at the park. What if you don't care about visiting the "second park?" That's kinda dumb.
  2. Not everyone is willing to spend an additional $40 for the Flash Pass. I can understand how they're glad it's not going to be possible for other people to essentially "cut in front of them" to make the normal line wait even longer.
  3. You would probably just want to get a season pass for $60 if you want to go for both days. Online prices are $36, but they charge you a $5 "handling" fee, so overall if you bought 2 tickets it'd run you about $77. You can just purchase the pass at the park and you won't have to deal with any additional fees.
  4. Looks like Green Lantern is going to have a super long queue and exit path much like Riddler.
  5. Did it look like the figure was repainted, or does it look like it may be sitting there for a while? Just wondering if they rehabbed it and are just waiting to add it back to the tower. Maybe for Opening Day?
  6. I'm officially jealous that SFMM isn't getting this ride instead. I don't care if we have 2 stand-up coasters, I want it!
  7. I dunno why and maybe it's just me or the parking lot location, but the ride looks out place. Almost awkward how far the ride is outside the GASM park boundaries. They've got this huge park and this is the only location they could find for the ride?
  8. Deja Vu is not the kind of coaster you can ride over and over, atleast for me it's much too intense for that. It's more of the "Xtreme" kind of ride the park was going for when they installed X, but is a must-ride for anyone that hasn't been on it yet. PeopleMoverMatt hit the nail on the head, ride it in the very back seat on the outside and that first freefall drop is way tall and terrifying. You're facing the ground and they time the release for the drop just right so you get that maximum air between the seat and the restraint. Total weightlessness and a feeling like you jumped off a building. And at the last second, the seat scoops your butt before you hit the ground and then yanks you forward with power. The rest of the ride is awesome too, IMO one of my top 3 at the park. BTW I saw the ERT posting for the WCB AM and didn't see S:EFK on there...
  9. But it is freaking fast and freaking tall and that, to me, is A LOT of fun. I have a feeling there will be a 500+ foot coaster, but it probably won't be in the US. Thing is there is no market for them right now, and I think a lot of it has to do with the economy. With things like Cheetah Hunt that give you a thrilling ride that hugs the ground instead of going up really high, you save some money on structure and still get a crowd pleaser.
  10. I think it was $10 regular, but I believe I paid $5 during Haunt once. Probably the best $5 I ever spent, I loved it.
  11. Even down here in Orange County the temperatures have been quite chilly the past week from about 4pm until 9am (when the sun starts to go down until its up again) and when the wind picks up even at noon you can feel the cool crisp air from the North. I actually like what they did with the trains. I kinda wish they both had the S like the blue car, but at least they're being original. Man I wish I coulda gone to the commercial shoot today! Does anybody know the people that got in?
  12. If I recall from reading past WCB events, usually most of the roller coaster riding is done at morning or evening ERT. Get there early and get your rides in, when the park opens go to breakfast. During park operating hours TPR has plenty of activities to do like scavenger hunts, Q&A sessions, backstage tours, lunch, etc. while all the regular guests are dealing with crowds and waiting in lines. Then once the night comes, the crowds thin out, night ERT begins and you get to go on anything you want that you didn't go on in the morning!
  13. I still don't get it. Maybe I'm just old, but internet memes are pretty stupid pretty much all the time. *cough* Revolution *cough*
