  1. Email tbaldwin@amusementtoday.com if you want to be added to the panel of voters. I did it a few years ago when I was getting frustrated with the results and although they still aren't accurate they are heading in the right direction. The more voters they have, the better. Dan
  2. We did horror nights but it was really busy and the express passes sold out before we could get them. We only did one maze which was the chucky one. It had an 80 minute queue and was similar to the mazes at HHN in Orlando. We also did the ring which was basically a different video played in the space fantasy queue and an actor scaring everyone. The ride itself was pitch black and the audio had changed to a girl screaming every now and again. It wasn't that great compared to riding it in the daytime. The haunted restaurant was also fully booked. We managed to get on all the rides over the two days except from Hollywood dream forward facing as it was closed on day two due to a Typhoon approaching. We did two days at Fuji-Q and managed to get everything including re-rides. The fastpass booth queue was massive so we didn't bother with that. One trick we learnt was to queue at the station entrance so you could get to Eejanika first Our first day at Nagashima Spa land was tough as Steel Dragon 2000 and Ultra Twister was closed and the park was empty due to the Typhoon the previous day. Thanks to Google translate we found out the rides would open the following day so we decided to go home and return the following day for a few hours and leave at around 2pm to head to our hotel near Fuji-Q Thanks for your advice on the few thread I have posted. Most of it is online but some parks like to have sites that have text in images which can't be translated.
  3. Yes we will be getting the train from Kyoto. We will get there one hour before opening and fingers crossed we get the tickets we want Thanks for all the advice in this thread and the other few I have created. 11 days to go!
  4. Thank you for the advice. I think I will be getting an express pass for the mazes and the rides. Not sure about the diner yet! We are aiming to get to the park one hour before opening, do you think that is early enough to get the express passes or would you recommend any earlier? Thanks so much for the advice. Google and Google translate has helped a lot but unfortunately doesn't answer everything
  5. Hi I am going to Universal Studios Japan on the 12th and 13th October and I have noticed they are running horror nights on the 12th. The opening hours for the park is 9am-10pm but I know from experience in Florida that they close the park and only let horror night ticket holders into the park in the evening I'm not that interested in going to horror nights but I do want to maximise ride times. Will I need to purchase horror night tickets to remain in the park until 10pm I have tried to use Google translate but i'm not sure. Thanks Dan
  6. I am planning on going this October and here is my rough plan. It would be good if anyone can comment on anything that looks wrong or if we are missing anything? Day 1 - Travel to Kyoto & sightseeing Day 2 - Universal Studios Day 3 - Universal Studios Day 4 - Nagashima Spa Land Day 5 - Fuji Q Day 6 - Fuji Q & travel Day 7 - Tobu Zoo Day 8 - Tokyo Sightseeing Day 9 - Disneyland Day 10 - Disneysea Day 11 - Disneysea/Disneyland Day 12 - Tokyo sightseeing Day 13 - Tokyo sightseeing/Flight back Thanks!
  7. Hi I am visiting Fuji Q in October and I can't seem to find any information on their website. I have heard they sell out quickly so I am keen to know more in terms of price and if you can purchase them before you arrive? If not where in the park do they sell them so I can head straight there when we are in Thanks Dan
  8. Hi I am looking at spending two weeks in Japan and a week in Hong Kong next year. When is the best time to go? I'm planning to visit the two Disney parks, Fuji-Q, Joyopolis, Parque Espana, Universal Studios Japan & Nagashmia Spa Land. Am I missing any decent parks? Would you recommend to travel via public transport or get a hire car? Would you also agree that Tokyo Disney Sea and Disneyland are both two days parks? I'd also like to see some sights whilst in Tokyo and Osaka. I'm not sure exactly what yet but things that are quick to visit, nothing that would take all day. Would three days in Tokyo & one in Osaka be enough for general sight seeing? Thanks! Dan
