  1. Cedar Point gif for the win! Loving the report so far, the details you put in are pretty awesome. I'm glad you enjoyed Kennywood. Sorry to hear about your poor trip to Potato Patch though
  2. I've been wondering about something and hopefully you guys can help me out. I recently bought a Platinum Pass off of Kings Island's website, however I will be attending Cedar Point before I can get my pass processed. Can I still get my platinum pass processed at Cedar Point or do I have to get it processed at KI since I bought it from there? Also any idea of the size of crowds on June 1st? It's a Monday so I know those are usually less busy, however a lot of schools are starting to let out. Thanks!!
  3. This thing looks awesome! I can't wait to get down to Kings Island sometime soon to ride it. Thanks for all the updates everyone, I'm absolutely loving them.
  4. It's so tragic that all these theme park accidents happened on the same day. My condolences go out to everyone that was involved.
  5. I noticed that as well. Didn't it use to be $50 per person? I wonder why they keep increasing the price of Fast Lane. However I do have to say it is worth every penny. Being able to ride all the big (E-Ticket) rides multiple times and with minimal wait definitely makes any trip to Cedar Point so much easier and lots of fun!
  6. I'm glad I wasn't the only one surprised by how Gunter looked in person, don't get me wrong I think he's an absolute hunk so I'm not really complaining. ^Agreed All things about Gunter aside hopefully I can get out to BGW and ride this thing, it's been YEARS since I've been to the park so it would be a blast to see all the new rides. Thanks for the PTR Chuck!
  7. Wow I'm surprised they showed us that much! Especially the drop sequence, it definitely looks like its got some umph to it as well. I'm extremely excited about Verbolten now and I'm trying to find a way out there to get on this ride. The only problem will be dragging my boyfriend along with me. haha
  8. I'm honestly not one bit upset about WildCat being removed. While it did provide a nice thrill for families. I was always sort of scared of it's safety. Maybe Cedar Point can put a new family coaster in soon? Something that can appease everyone like Backlot Stunt Coaster at Kings Island or maybe even something Verbolten like (I know dream big). But that's just my two cents.
  9. I am honestly freaking out about this ride! Hopefully my internships this summer allow me some time to travel so I can ride this bad boy. Thanks for all the updates Chuck!
  10. I am loving all of the coverage we're getting. Keep it up I can't wait to see some more
  11. I know Ohio has some GREAT Haunted Houses. Some of my favorites are Haunted Hoochie/Dead Acres -Pataskala, OH Dead Acres/Haunted Hoochie This haunt is just f**king insane! The actors grab at you, put their chainsaws against your body and legs, plus totally invade your personal space. The wait can sometimes be 2+ hours. But it's totally worth it in my opinion. Plus they now have a 3D maze which I hear is also pretty cool. The Terror Fest-Columbus, OH TerrorFest The special effects, props, and sets in this house are pretty good for a Columbus haunt. I had a great time at this haunted house. It also helps that the place is ALL INDOORS! So even if it's raining, which it tends to do that a lot in Ohio during October, you can still stay dry and enjoy a scary good time. Lastly I haven't been to this one but I'm planning on driving out to visit it, is the Ohio State Reformatory's Haunted Prison Experience. Haunted Prison Experience I'm pretty excited about this haunt because I haven't really heard anything bad about it. I'm a big scardey cat but I LOVE being scared and this seems like it will be a great place to test my limits. Even though I have never been. I do hear however that The Dent Schoolhouse is another AMAZING haunt in the Cincinnati,OH area. The Dent Schoolhouse So if you are anywhere near these haunts or feel like making a trip I say definitely check them out!
  12. As much as I would have loved to see a new ride or even Roller Coaster. I have to say Dinosaurs Alive and a New Mat Slide for Soak City isn't incredibly bad. It's definitely helping making Cedar Point a little more family friendly than just a place for Thrill Seekers to go get their adrenaline high.
  13. Hey guys I'm visiting Chicago for the 4th of July holiday and a trip to Six Flags Great America has been planned. I'm really excited because the last time I was at this park Giant Drop had just opened! (which was 1997 for all of you who don't know). I was just wondering how have crowds been so far this year? More specifically how busy is it on the weekdays? We plan on going July 5th or 6th and I'm trying to figure out if it would be beneficial to buy a Flash Pass for the day or not. One last thing if I do get a Flash Pass can someone please explain the difference between the Regular, Gold and Platinum Flash Passes, I'm sort of confused on how it works. Thanks
