When we made a trip out to South Dakota, we stayed in the hotel pictured behind Kandi's Gifts. It's quite amusing when you read a trip report of a place you've already been to, and the pictures take you back a little...Very nice trip report!

I am seriously considering using one of your pictures for my desktop background (The one with a quote "I kinda like how Darien Lake is kinda in the middle of nowhere. Great day at Valleyfair! Just rode Renegade 29 times in a row, and 31 on Wild Thing. Great turnout for the event. Will definitely be raising money for this next year!

Beautiful paint job on Millennium Force...So far

The last two are ones that struck me the most, though especially the third one. It takes a special eye and some luck to come out with a shot like that. It's one of those shots that would end up in a memory book, and if you flipped through to that page, you'd find yourself staring at it for awhile.

Just like everybody posting before me, I'm really digging the height of this thing! I like in this picture the size of the structure in proportion with the parking lamps.

I agree. Compared to the Intamin giga coasters, the drop seems to prolong itself, and pull out at the last minute.

I wonder what it was like riding in the back seat going down those hairpin drops?

If it's going to be a Zierer coaster, might we expect similar elements found on Wicked at Lagoon?

That was a great trip report, based on the event that it made me laugh, and that it's of a park ON A BEACH!! A taste of heaven is the way I would describe it! On a side note, is it just me, or did that SLC seem faster than the average? I may indeed be fooled by the visceral sensation produced by the camera being so close to the rails, but if anybody else senses this, I would encourage other members to post something about it so I don't feel like an lonely donkey.
