  1. It couldn't be any more hideous than it is right now, which looks like scaffolding. This is Universal, not Six Flags. They better put something up there to cover the "construction site" look it has now.
  2. My guess is that the banner will light up? Right now it looks rather dull, there's just no "bite" to it like it has in the drawings. Perhaps it too will have LED?
  3. This ride will open up when school starts. It will miss the ENTIRE summer. Terrible planning/execution on their part. I'm sure it will be a great ride but boy did they blow it.
  4. I think the rings were set up solely to make the ride look more complex than it really is. They were purposely made to look like coaster tracks, but really have no function in the ride. Kinda brilliant actually.
  5. Can I ask a question on the music choices? How come no movie scores? I thought there was supposed to be Back to the Future and Star Wars themes? This is a theme park about movies right? And the ride itself has HOLLYWOOD right in it's name. Makes no sense to offer no film soundtracks. The snubbing of Back to the Future is the most puzzling. Not only do they (Universal) own the rights, but with the closing of BTTF last year it would have been a nice offering to have the music a choice on this new ride. Oh well...
  6. I drove by Nassal today like I do most days, but this time I decided to pull into the alley and take a peek. Not a whole lot of progress since the last time I saw photos, except for some roofing. I will keep my eye out over the next few weeks and take pics if I see any noticeable progress.
