Hi all, anybody know if it's possible to buy a Flash Pass at the park if you've pre-purchased your park entry tickets online? My girlfirend and I are planning on visiting on Sunday 9th March. Any advice would be much appreciated. Cheers.

I have a bit of free time that weekend and fancy getting a cheap flight to go and check out a park, but obviously winter season means nowhere is open. Any ideas?

Er, um, anyone know where I can get em? Basically, I'm talking really old school, preferably 80s era park or coaster tees, in a similar vein to the original version of the recent Epcot 25th Anniversary shirt. There are a few knocking around on ebay but none that I fancy or that are in my size. I was just wondering if there are any good sources for this kind of thing that I might not be aware of? I just got my girlfriend a great 80s Busch Gardens Tampa shirt (main detail is horses) and I've got the taste for it! Any info would be much appreciated.

Hi all, was just wondering if anyone had any tips regarding travelling from Frankfurt to Holiday Park? Flying out on Monday and probably gonna visit the park on Tuesday. I understand it should be possible to get a train (which I assume would be the most efficient type of transport to use) but when I checked on the German trains website the prices are much higher than I expected. What should I be expecting to pay for a return journey? At the prices being quoted it would be cheaper to hire a car for the day! Also, which Frankfurt station would the train run from? Any random advice regarding the park in general would also be really helpful. Cheers!

Hi coastermaniac1, thanks again for another great update. 6th June is going to be my last day at the park before I fly back to the UK...do you think there's any chance my girlfriend and I could somehow get our way onto that ERT session? I would try joining PA-community but I can't read Spanish! I've tried e-mailing Port Aventura begging them but they haven't responded. Any ideas? I know it's a bit of a long shot but it'll be so frustrating seeing it going round knowing that if we'd booked our trip a week later we could've got on it.

You think that's bad, I'm gonna be at Port Aventura June 4th-6th! Harsh.

Hi guys, me and the missus have decided to take a relatively short notice trip to Florida in March. Cheap flights, check! Cheap car rental, check! Cheap hotels, check! So now we're looking at organising our Disney tickets before we go, as it seems to be best to have it sorted out beforehand, rather than queieing when we get there. It looks as if we are going to spending the 22nd, 23rd and 24th of March at WDW. We've both visited all the parks before apart from Animal Kingdom so we've decided that we'd like to do a bit of all 4 within those 3 days. From my understanding, under the new Magic Your Way system, 3 day park hopper tickets would be our best option, any ideas on the best place to purchase these from (bearing in mind we live in the UK)? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I've seen a few US sites that have them delivered to your hotel for collection when you arrive, is thios generally a good idea? Cheers folks.

I've been the last couple of years and it's been pretty good IMO. The only thing I have to compare it with is HHN at Universal and obviously it's nowhere near up to the same standards in terms of scale or execution (so to speak), but it's still a lot of fun. They clearly take the majority of the ideas from the example from the US parks. Last year if I remember rightly there were two very good mazes and the Carnival of the Bizzare was surprisingly good, like an old fashioned freak show, with some pretty impressive, funny and disgusting stuff...not for the squemish. I'd recommend going along, although I would advise not to actually go on Halloween, as the park will be ridiculously busy, better to hit a random unattractive weekday if you can, that way you won't have to spend hours queueing (the mazes tend to have queues of at least an hour on the busy nights). If you can't avoid a busy day, I believe you can buy fast passes for the mazes. As the other posters have said, probably best not to expect anything on the same scale as a US park but go with an open mind and you'll have a great time.

I'm usually a fan of his stunts but not so sure about this one...I mean it's quite funny but I can't see why he targeted Disney. Juxtaposition perhaps? Maybe he thought it would have the most impact in such a happy setting, I can't see how he would think it would seriously achieve anything other than reminding people what's going on. Artist Banksy targets Disneyland A life-size replica of a Guantanamo Bay detainee has been placed in Disneyland by "guerrilla artist" Banksy. The hooded figure was placed inside the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad ride at the California theme park last weekend. It is understood to have remained in place for 90 minutes before the ride was closed down and the figure removed. A spokeswoman for Banksy said the stunt was intended to highlight the plight of terror suspects at the controversial detention centre in Cuba. Banksy is notorious for his secretive and subversive stunts - such as sneaking doctored versions of classic paintings into major art galleries. In 2005, he embarrassed the British Museum by planting a hoax cave painting of a man pushing a supermarket trolley, which he said went unnoticed for three days. Last week, he smuggled 500 "alternative" versions of Paris Hilton's album into record shops around the UK. Topless fake cover The artist replaced Hilton's songs with his own remixes, which were given titles such as Why am I Famous?, What Have I Done? and What Am I For? He also changed the artwork to show the US socialite topless and with a dog's head. The Bristolian is most famous for his graffiti artworks, which are often created in prominent public places. Last year, he produced nine stencil sprays on the Palestinian side of the West Bank barrier. The satirical images showed images of life on the other side of the barrier. One depicted a hole in the wall with an idyllic beach, while another showed a mountain landscape. Earlier this summer, a piece of Banksy's graffiti art on a Bristol building was allowed to remain in place by the city council after the public voiced overwhelming support.
