  1. Missed Deja Vu at SFMM when I was there both times and also Manta at SeaWorld.
  2. Have booked up from 6th-8th July at AT Hotel and two day park entry. Bit nervous that it all be a bit shambolic early on particularly as we’re taking our 5yo who has Aspergers. Has anyone heard if the CBeebies show and characters will be on? My boy loves Duggee and would be good if it was on although I suspect it won’t be to begin with.....
  3. When is Rock n Roller meant to re-open? Guessing it’s not this year?
  4. Sitting in storage since 2011? Doesn’t sound particularly re-assuring.....
  5. I was hugely upset by Duelling Dragons getting flattened and now this news. I loved Wild Mouse for the sheer terror of injury it produced. One of the classic vintage rides giving BPB its unique feel. I understand all the reasons why it’s gone but it doesn’t make it any easier to accept.
  6. ^ Ive seen criticism of people who have taken unofficial footage on rides. Just in case this fell into the same category. Edit: here's the link. Please delete if necessary:
  7. This may be old news but anyone seen the footage of the trespassers climbing The Big One? Haven't posted it in case it's deemed inappropriate. A slight security concern that they were up there. As for bounding about up there unsupported - truly mad.
  8. I'm saddened by this news. I love B & M inverts and having two together was great. My sadness is that I never got to ride properly duelling. The one time I queued at the front for it they messed up the duelling. One of life's little regrets. When I was in Florida last summer I got to ride them both one last time. Still great coasters imo but couldn't help feeling it was being quietly edged out of Potterland. I really hope it can find a new home but worry that Rob sees it as unlikely. Would be a real loss and a wee bit like the end of an era.
  9. Not a bad name. Bit different. Will be interesting to see what the Japanese theming will entail. A 'garden of tranquillity' that has a coaster roaring round it?!?
  10. Good spot. Will not be sorry to see Tornado going either. Don't know where this leaves the park right enough.
  11. Drove past yesterday on the motorway. There's certainly a big gap on the park skyline now. Not sure what the replacement will be but I don't see it being another coaster.
  12. Good lord, who had to write the sales sheet for that one? "This is your chance to own one of Scotland's b̶e̶s̶t̶ most "thrilling" theme park attractions! Ride includes t̶w̶o̶ one gently used trains̶. Ride has only run for 16 days since it passed it's last comprehensive safety inspection by our in-house safety inspector who has since b̶e̶e̶n̶ ̶b̶a̶n̶n̶e̶d̶ ̶f̶r̶o̶m̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶p̶a̶r̶k̶ ̶d̶u̶e̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶b̶o̶r̶d̶e̶r̶l̶i̶n̶e̶ ̶c̶r̶i̶m̶i̶n̶a̶l̶ ̶n̶e̶g̶l̶i̶g̶e̶n̶c̶e̶ retired. Serious offers only." Only one careful owner.....
  13. I see most of the links are from British media. They have a real hardon for theme park accidents since The Smiler.
  14. One of those incidents you don't want to picture in your head or it would scare the hell out of you.
