Overall, its a nice place, just not alot to do. I had been planning on going, since I live in Wilmingon NC, so about 1.5hrs away. On the spur of the moment, I figured I would head down yesterday, I get there, there is a 7$ charge for parking, but I knew I was going to get a season pass, so I asked the parking attendent how to go about that, she just advised me to pay, and take my reciept to the guest services after getting my pass, and they would refund my money, which they did, so a year of free park entry, and free parking, with the other discounts, ended up being 69$ and some change! Not too bad. Well, walking in, my thoughts are, wow, this place is nice. Really its almost too nice, I decide to hit up the bathroom first, in which, the sink, the soap dispencer, and the paper towel dispencer are all automatic, maybe some of the things that money was kinda "wasted on" by hrp. Did "The Time Machine" First, it it a pretty cool coaster, Its nice having the music going, and it has a really nice sound and is pretty loud. The "Iron Horse" Coaster, was a waste of time, for me, Monsters of Rock, you can tell they just wanted to put something in that building for the year, its kinda cute, but I am not for cute rides, hah. Everything else I rode was just ok. I went to one show, Ice Cold Country, to me, it wasnt all that great, but I am kinda spoiled by Dollywood's shows. Kiss the sky...GREAT Fireworks show. Overall from my opinion, from the empoyees, which are all great that I ran into, the cleanliness of the park, I really feel that the new owners really want to make this work. I just really think they need to jerk down some of the buildings and build some more rides, even if its like a "country fair" section with those types or rides, like they have at Dollywood. I hope they do make it, so everyone should go even just to check it out for a day! See if anyone else wonders why there are so many restrooms.. :S
