  1. Hey guys, looks like you're having fun! see you tomorrow at Seaparadise!
  2. Hi Robb, thank you for the other day at Laqua. I was happy to meet theme park review's group (but I missed the Elissa credit). Hope to see you again at disneyland/sea fujikyu and yokohama parks. Giuseppe
  3. msg for robb, you sent me a message about the Japan trip. I am still living in japan and can help you everytime during the trip as interpreter/translator... msg me if you still need help.
  4. they should put there a batman-something or a superman-like ride...
  5. the japanese site says it's gonna brake the "inversion" record with 14 inversions (it refers to the seat inversions) taken from the japanese site the seat rotates 7 times 2 "loops" (the japanese site uses the word "loop") 5 "twists" this is just the translation of the specs... anyway I will ride it at the end of july so wait for a report...
  6. I mean I will intercede to let Robb bring his camera on eejanaika & co.
  7. I'm already working in this direction... Maybe next year we'll have onride POV.
  8. the opening is scheduled for may 27th, according to Mirabilandia.
  9. They are now testing new trains and waiting for authorizations... At Nagashima they say they want to open it again in july/august...
  10. I only hope this accident won't have any effect on Steeldragon2000's supposed reopening.
  11. I'd be pleased to help everyone in Tokyo I am a "Tokyo enthusiast". Chris, next month I will be again in Italy (Sicily) for my cousin's wedding, then come back in Tokyo at the end of July, that's why I won't be at Fujikyu the 19th... PS. you can save a lot of money with the bus, it's only 6000yen for a return ticket and a daily pass. Anyway MP me if you come to Tokyo
  12. Nothing about SD2k, anyway I will come back to Nagashima as soon as i can to collect informations... Yesterday I subscribed to the eejanaika mailing list (only in japanese, sorry) and I will post the translations here when I know something. Chris, when will you be back to Japan? We can arrange a visit together at Fujikyuu... edit: I've read a few minutes ago in wikipedia that Nagashima Spaland wants to open again the steel dragon 2000 and is waiting for the required authorization... they are now testing the new trains.
  13. just a few punctualizations this is the 18th year of the current emperor and the bottom of the poster says something like "auspicius" (often used in japanese when someone is born or get married). In the top of the symbol of eejanaika there are a couple of kanjis (meimei) which mean "to name"... So the entere sentence could be translated "In July 19th, Heisei 18th year, after Fujiyama and Dodonpa is born the third son of Fujikyu, named Eejanaika. Congratulations!" ps. I will ride it as well at the end of july
  14. I think the name refers to something happened in 1866. A lot of people screaming "eejanaika" and throwing sacred papers all around in temples...
