  1. I know I'm going to SFNE next week, but maybe I can squeeze a trip to ride Boulder Dash. I am dieing to ride it.
  2. I always liked the way La Ronde looked, however as you stated, it is know to have some rough crowds. I always though Shapiro's favorite was SFNE? He is after all dumping 50 million into next year.
  3. Lately I am getting fed up with Sixflags ridiculous restrictions on S:ROS and the ultimate nut squashing. I wish they would get rid of the ankle guards since my feet are size 13 and make it very uncomfortable to put the restraint down. I usually take the front row of a car, just for the extra leg room so my shins don't get bruised. Come on Sixflags, remove the damn cuffs already!
  4. How many hills are there that produce airtime, I counted 6 clear hills of airtime, but I couldn't tell if the first drop produced airtime and the crazy s-turn hill looks like the back might airtime. Could anyone let me know? As far as it being better than S:ROS, I have no idea, I am obviously a S:ROS fanboy, but that ride looks nuts! It would have to be amazing, because there are some days when S:ROS never lets up and just goes crazy! Is S:ROS not good to people because of it's restraint? That's just ridiculous then.
  5. It isn't the only one in the world, just happens to be the first indoor one. The Masterblaster is the longest water rollercoaster that's indoor. Noah's Ark has the longest one, forget what it is called.
  6. You should have done the Atlantis Beach. If you think Castaway Cay's water was beautiful, you should see this beach. It's so serene and calm, and so beautiful at the same time! Not to mention there is a water park.
  7. I went on that boat too! I loved it, and my favorite resturant was Animator's Palate. The whole experience was unique, however the Aloft is stupid, hardly anyone was in it when I went.
  8. Slush n Gusher is my favorite body slide! Better than Summit Plummit
  9. Yea finally a quiz where I know most of it and quess correctly! 10/10 here Canobie Corkscrew helped me out and my Latin helped, whoa.
  10. El Toro is advertised as an out and back coaster, so that gets my vote.
  11. OMG!!! I learned about El Ave in Spanish class. It's one of the fastest trains on the planet, i believe it goes around 200 km/h. It was named after a spanish bird, which is why the logo has a seagull like graphic. I can't believe that you guys were on it. As for the drop tower, my spanish tells me that they run programs at different highs(all the way, middle, and low) and goes up and drops a certain amount of times. Probably to meet the thrill standards of everyone.
  12. Someone talked to the managers of the park and stated that a retheme would happen. What do you mean suck! I think it is going to be one of the best Gotham Cities in the chain. Look how well the Wiggles Worlds, Thomas Towns, and SFMW turned out. So far Shapiro has proved himself to be pretty good at picking and executing themeing. It would be better than just the South End no matter what and will enhance that section.
  13. ^ Actually Shapiro has painted many rollercoasters this year. Let me name a few, Chang, Ninja, and many more, those are just on the top of my head. I do wanna adress all the comments made about S:ROS and Mind Eraser having faded colors and how B:TDK and Crime Wave are in the wrong section. First off, B:TDK and Crime Wave are in a section called the South End, they are not a part of DC Comics area. Next year, it has been confirmed that there will be a retheme of the South End into Gotham City. To back this up there are many facts, such as relocation of Crime Wave, fixing and rehabing both sides of Double Trouble, holding off on Mind Eraser's paint so they can match it to a specific theme when they paint it, and a family rollercoaster rumour. I would assume that the other coasters would get some TLC as well such as S:ROS and Flashback. I do not know wether they are going to wait to paint Thunderbolt next year since the season has really kicked off. Hope this clears any confusion at all and if you have any specific questions post in here or pm me and I will try to answer your question.
  14. Jeez, sorry you had a bad day at the park. Your TR makes it sound like it's Magic Mountain. I have been three times since opening and B:TDK and S:ROS seem to have slow crews. My last visit showed that B:TDK was extremely rough. Cyclone has been kicking for me, everytime I go, there are some trims off it not all! I haven't experience many linejumpers yet and any smokers, and the people who don't know how to use Q-bot are complete idiots. They make you watch a video on how to visit . Last visit, I didn't get stapled once and S:ROS was extremely smooth, but after 7 years of age it is not as good.
  15. I feel like she wasted money by using Flash Pass on a day were she stayed in the water park for most of her visit. I only want to get a flashpass if I intend to reserve the rollercoaters and ride some of the great flat rides SFNE has to offer. BTW did you venture into Thomas Land? My sister said she wanted to, but everyone was checking it out since it was the grand opening.
