  1. I've read enough TR's to understand that these fast lane (or is it flash passes) can really up your ride count but I couldn't find anything on the SFMM site as to where I would buy these or pricing? Are there any deals or discount coupons I should be looking for on these? Thanks, Joel. OOPS! Spoke without looking very hard. Dug a little deeper at the SFMM site and found that a 4 ride Flash Pass on a Saturday will cost me $20. http://www.sixflags.com/parks/magicmountain/ParkInfo/guestservices.html THE FLASH PASS Shorter Lines...Limited Waiting...No Kidding! THE FLASH PASS can be purchased for $15*(Monday - Friday)or $20*(Saturday, Sunday & Holidays) at the ticket booths, THE FLASH PASS booth (behind Guest Relations in Six Flags Plaza) or at the Guest Necessities Center. A limited number of THE FLASH PASS are available for purchase each operating day. The passes will be available only while supplies last and are valid only on the day of purchase. The rides available for THE FLASH PASS vary from day-to-day (please check with the host/hostess at THE FLASH PASS booth for a list of specific rides available). Each THE FLASH PASS is good for four priority boarding opportunities: 1 person x 4 rides, 2 people x 2 rides, 4 people x 1 ride ... it's your choice! THE FLASH PASS program does not require any sort of reservation or pre-determined arrival time. Simply choose your ride and follow THE FLASH PASS direction. * THE FLASH PASS prices are subject to change without notice. One way or another these people do make their money. Joel.
  2. Thanks for the quick reply Elissa, I just jumped over to E-bay and found this. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110017989873 Does this look legit? The fine print says it expires in 2007. I'll keep digging Joel.
  3. Well I visited the Magic Mountain web site and looked into online ticket sales. It seems the $39 online discount price expires one week before my visit of November 11th . Anybody have a Coke can they could look at and tell me when that discount expires? https://tickets.sixflags.com/store.jsp?merchant=SF-LA&autonav=A0#ceShop This page say's the military can buy their tickets on base for a discount I’ll have one of my Marine buddy’s check into this. http://www.sixflags.com/parks/magicmountain/parkpress/Military.html Are there any other discount deals that I should be looking for? Thanks, Joel.
  4. Wes, I suppose you’re right, but it did feel good to ramble on about life while I was still young and carefree. I guess this trip is my opportunity to relive those days of reckless abandon without the risk of injury. Not to mention I will have the luxury of a lift hill doing all of the work for my tired out of shape body. Let’s just call this my safe mid life crisis trip without the red Corvette, young ladies and associated risk to marriage, life and limb. Today’s (sort of) brief question is what’s the best method for purchasing entry tickets? I’ve read there’s some kind of Coke can deal where you bring the properly marked can to the entry gate for a discount priced ticket. I’ve also read that I can purchase discount tickets ahead of time online and skip waiting in the ticket line on the day of the visit. Just wondering what the experienced riders suggest? Thanks, Joel.
