  1. I also left a comment on CoasterTube. It was out of this world! Great screenplay, awesome efects, and it was just plain funny. Looking forward to more and exciting productions in the future. This is going to be pretty tough to top, though. Robb...you were hysterical. Again....awesome job! Standing ovation!
  2. So... The video has been uploaded to CoasterTube. I only get sound and no video. Anyone else having this problem?? BTW...I started watching some of the LQ video on your link. So far, it is absolutely fantastic. I'll wait to see the HQ version on CoasterTube.
  3. I agree. I am also waiting until you guys put it up on CoasterTube. Although, it is starting to get a little late here on the East Coast. I'll check back later after I get my daughter to bed.
  4. My daughter is similar. She is now 17 and 1/2 months old. She loves the sounds and sights of coaster trains going by, and she also hates being trapped inside. Living in New York City, it is now Winter, so we have quite a bit of inside time. =( Travel is difficult when it is really cold. Hopefully the next time you guys are on the East Coast, we can join you on your GrAdv outing. I wish GrAdv would get a Blue Sex Fall! They need a drop tower so badly!
  5. Weird. I seem to be able to capitalize and spell correctly using AIM and Myspace just fine. I guess today's youth doesn't mind the stereotype of being uneducated and lazy? --Robb "I like how you spelled 'capitalize!'" Alvey You're completely correct, Robb. Today's youth doesn't mind the stereotype. I am an Assistant Principal in a high school, as well as an adjunct college professor. You should see the writing that I get from my students. It is absolutely awful! Somewhere, somehow, today's youth finds it acceptable to submit written work without capitalization, punctuation, or proper grammar. They see nothing wrong with writing in "IM Speak". And when you question their work ethic, they fight you, saying that there is nothing wrong with what they have given. I am glad to see you enforce this on your site. There are others that enforce this also, which I think is great. Awesome trip report! How do you and Elissa do it with Kid Tums? My daughter is 17 months old, and she still doesn't sleep through the night!! It amazes me that you are able to so this with Kid Tums in tow! Kudos to you and Elissa!
  6. It was a great ride. It was VERY hard to get the Batman credit. I never got to ride the Batman side with the lapbar restraint. I do remember the top hat was incredibly intense going backwards. The headbanging sucked with the OTSR's. Shame they couldn't get it to work. It's too bad it couldn't be completely modified to be a full circuit coaster. Well....look on the bright side. We're getting a Wild Mouse in the dark in its place. Go figure.
  7. Congrats, Robb & Elissa! Welcome to the wonderful world of coaster enthusiasts, KidTums!! Let the era of sleepless nights begin! So....who gets the late feedings?? What's going to be her first coaster?
  8. Viper at SF GrAdv....now defunct! My chiropractor enjoyed my visits after riding that one!
  9. This sucks! Considering I only got to ride the Batman side maybe twice (with the OTSRs), and every other time was the Robin side, with the lapbars. The ride is great, and the zero-g roll is amazing when you go backwards. Maybe the trains should be modified...NOT THE COURSE!
  10. Just got to watch your first film, J-Man. Not bad for a 10 year old. I can't watch at work...YouTube is blocked. You guys have talent. Looking forward to "Hoodie 2: Boyz N Da Hood" (Couldn't help myself!)
  11. Not a problem. Hopefully all these comments and constructive criticisms will help you with your future works. I am a HS teacher, and I teach in a specialized lab dedicated to Information Technology. One of my workstations is specifially designed for Digital Video Production. We use a Canon GL-1 camera. Very expensive (and now outdated), but high quality mini-DV cam. The kids who work on it have 9 weeks to learn how to do basic editing (using Windows Movie Maker...YUCK! I prefer Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5) and then make a commercial on the topic of their choice. I showed your video to my students who are completing the workstation, and they were very impressed. Now, I'll show it when the new students start the workstation in February to give them some inspiration. All of my students know I am a coaster fanatic. They think it's cool...or, so they say! BTW...Guy T. Koepp...if you are reading this...I also show my students your video, too. They really enjoyed it! Bottom line...keep producing more videos! As you produce more and more, the quality of work will improve, and that will be evident when you view your latest work, and then compare it to earlier works.
  12. ^^ I agree with everything Robb says If you guys are thinking of making a career out of this, you definitely are off to a good start. One item you may want to invest in is an external microphone that you can attach to your cam to pick up your speech where there is a lot of transient/ambient noise (i.e. Your scene in the amusement park where the two of you just arrived...hard to hear the dialogue). I know there was nothing you could do....the mic on the cam can only get so much. I have watched this quite a few times already. Truly, truly enjoy it. Again, great work, guys!
  13. Excellent job, guys! BTW...what editing program did you use?
  14. Hi Elissa. I know I don't have the required 150 posts, but, as you can see, my avatar is a pic of my now 6 month old daughter. If possible, I would like it to say "Future Coaster Enthusiast" Thanks, and congrats on your future addition! Joe
