  1. It really is never a good idea to buy one in advance. As far as I know, they have never sold out, and you can buy one on the day you are there if necessary. I can't tell you how many times I have seen people with a Flash pass, and the park was not crowded. Add to that, you are only going to be there for that day, and what if it is pouring rain? You bought a pass, and will not be able to use it. Thanks, that's a good point. I was afraid it would be super crowded as it's the last day of Christmas break for a lot of schools, but I guess the park must not think so since they start the early closing that day.
  2. Hey everybody, does anyone know what's going on with Flash pass pre-sales after Holiday in the park? I'm going to be in LA on a 12 hour layover on January 1st and want to check out as much of the park as I can before it closes at 6, so I figured I would look at a buying a pass, but it looks like the only day in January they are selling passes for is the 27th for some reason? I don't think they're sold out as passes are still available throughout December. Do they just not pre-sell them on some days? Thanks!
  3. I'm a big fan of daytime visits during fright fest. It's usually still warm but the lines are much shorter than during the summer. I skip the night part as I have a tendency to reflexively punch anything that jumps out at me...
  4. DO NOT SKIP GREEN LANTERN! People consistently complain that it is a bad or "rough" ride but I highly recommend riding it. It is fun, thrilling, and the theming ties in with the 2011 movie of the same name. Good coaster experience, and I don't understand why it gets so much hate. I found it a lot more enjoyable when I rode it during HitP with a heavy hat and hood on. With bare ears it's a pass for me.
  5. There's already a Flash ride at SFMM so it could happen. Theres also all the potential CW tie ins. They could even do a dual coaster with one forward-facing and one backwards. Call one Flash and one Reverse Flash. The concepts are right there!
  6. There's already a Flash ride at SFMM so it could happen. Not calling Kingda Ka "The Flash" was a huge missed opportunity. They have the naming rights for a superhero known as "the fastest man alive" and at the time it was the world's fastest roller coaster. It's a perfect match!
