  1. What are crowds like on Sat & Sun nights in early December? The park is open till 10pm & 9pm and I'd like to marathon the B&Ms with minimal lines - do they keep the rides open till closing time?
  2. For the inversions (4!) it looks like we have an immelman, zero-g roll, vertical loop (!), and a ... smaller immelman? Would have loved to see a dive loop, but it's hard to complain with these world records broken!
  3. Any idea if Yukon Striker will be included in a 2019 Fast Lane Plus Pass? I can't find any information on the CW website.
  4. Forgot to mention a B&M Dive coaster. It would be the first Dive Coaster in Canada, fits the looping criteria, and unless the construction area expands, it would fit nicely in the area. Would still like to see a B&M prototype and/or some sort of existing model that breaks records. Exciting times!
  5. Predictions in order of likelihood: 1) B&M Invert - meets the air/bird theme, majorly improves upon the terrible SLC, could see something similar to Banshee. 2) B&M Flyer - air/bird theme, improves upon Spine Warp, see something similar to Tatsu/Flying Dinosaur. 3) B&M Wing - air/bird theme, first Wing coaster in Canada, BUT this tunnel would have to be huge to accommodate the width of the ride/trains. 4) B&M Floorless - meets the "we need a good looping coaster" criteria, first Floorless coaster in Canada.
  6. So the big question is are we looking at a 2019 or 2020 coaster...?! Anyone well versed in how these permits work? It has been filed effective Jan 12, 2018- Jan 11, 2020. Any engineers / city planners out there that can chime in?
  7. Great trip report and plan of attack vistaway! Visiting USJ for the first time in May. I’m planning to go May Wed 10 or Thurs 11 and hoping to get EPs from the Japanese version of the USJ website as soon I arrive in Japan (Apr 27). Going for the EP 4 (HP, Flying Dino, Spidey, Jaws) but also interested in the Evangelion XR ride. Anyone know if they’ll be sold out by then and if I should try and get EPs sooner? Expecting crowds to be the usual craziness, even though Golden Week will be over and school is back on… My travel buddy isn’t the biggest ride person – any hope in heck I can get rides on Backdrop, HP, and JP without EPs or a 3hour wait? Still planning on getting there early and EPs but a guy can dream… Anyone confirm if Flying Dino actually has a single rider line now? I’d love to get on it more than my solitary EP turn and not have to wait 3hrs…too naïve?
