Zoomerang/Flying Daredevil Super 8 at Circus World
NOTE! Onride footage in this video has been shot by an experienced ride photographer. For rider safety reasons, Please DO NOT take a camera on any ride or roller coaster without proper training or permission from park management.
I rode this coaster with my mom when I was a young boy in the early 80s. She was terrified because her lock bar wouldn't lock properly and she thought our car might be thrown off the end of the track (not sure she understood it was a shuttle ride). I remember thinking to myself, "Why are we riding a roller coaster that is partially under construction?" Had a good time and good memories from this trip to Circus World despite the terrifying moment for my mom.
This is some super 8 I shot of the Zoomerang (later renamed Flying Daredevil) on my first visit to Circus World back in 1979. It has been a little weathered and damaged but nonetheless still cool to see an old Arrow Launched Loop in action.
